Not sure what are the problem, if there new maps or tournament but when I start tournament the game is not playbale. Maybe around ~15fps, since I have GeForce 770GTX and i7 4790k it really schould run fine at highest settings. Other game modes works fine.
At tournament even the loading timer is laggy. Using nvidia binary driver.
Try setting your Xorg process to a nice level of -5 / system monitor, priority - This might smoothe things out
does your FPS jump a lot or does it stay at 15 most of the time ?
NOTE: The Linux version of the game does currently have as high framerate as on lesser platforms.
