So it’s exactly the same !@&# as before, but now wrapped in a shiny foil? Nah, still not satisfied. It’s still the exact same limit because it will affect all new resources while the old ones with high limit will not be available to be found anymore.
for me destroyers are just an addition, I never wanted them because I knew developers would xxxx xxxx up and it would be imbalanced and would require months of balancing and work while they could have focused on more important things, improving seccon for example
There is no way technical limitations forced you to implement this limit. Eve online has 40 thousand active daily players and no limit on the ressources you can own. And that game is 14 years old. So you are either being cheap on server tech or lying and it is indeed a purely economical change, not technical.

A single integer is big enough to never ever a limit problem.
Even if 1 million players had 1 thousand different types of resources, they’ll save what? 3gb?
That’s nothing. It’s not even worth 1$.
The onliest reason to implement a limit is when you have already a plan in mind but you noticed “damn to many players have to much recources”.
Now they needed an quick solution and they found one… 1st the limiting and now the “convert your old recources into the new (limited) ones”. So they did slap 2 flies in one go cus “piss the community off” in the 1st round and then let it look like “we listened to your complains and reacted to them”.
So my personal guess is that it´s more or less an preparation for some other useless addition that requires even more farming in this “farming simulator” feast cus honestly i have the feeling that SC has become nothing more then that already. From Grinding Simulator to farming Simulator where the goal seems not to come closer at any point cus the progress is so freaking slow for the build projects. And honestly if i (whenever that will be) have reached all 3 main nations (ellysdium aside cus of “contracts farming”) with R15 on all (regular) ships + maxed them out (Prem and project ones not included). The game is done for me.
The reason is simply in terms of the regular ships the goal is forseeable when it will be reached (even when slowly but steady). The build projects however feel like an eternity cus when you check for the needed building parts it feels like no progress cus you see the monos next to the mats that are way more scarse then bery and neo together could ever be (only 8 per day “possible” (4 of them by mindless sector crossing simulation while the 4 others are “locked” behind pointless SCL)). So i won´t and never will own or build an project or dessie cus the farming was made way to insane and “complicated” where you really need to throw away any last bit of “human soul” to survive that torture.
The problem is that they don’t know how to properly balance resources.
So they limit it the hard way, with a hard cap.
I mean, with SC, it’s either “Get tons of things”, or get nothing. Nothing is balanced.
Look at Iridium convert to credit option.
We used to be able to get up to 1M credit. That was a bit too much.
So they nerfed it. Now how many do we get? 15k credit.

This is the reward for spending $40. The bs bundles that never give anything good when you buy gold just became more useless.

Question:
Why wasn’t the resource cap bundled with trading or processing these materials?
(We have all these materials that are at or above the limit, but no way to trade or process them, so your motives are lost on us, and many assume the worst.)
I think that in the next patch insert a shop item for expand inventory for the new resources…
But, i have another 2 questions off topic, i play ver rarely after the last patchs, because the game is not funny now by is very boring.

i have calltrop with kinetic resistance, thar-ga kill it in 3 shot by kinetic weapon…
i have ronin with kinetic resistance and phase shield in kinetic and I see very high damage on me… the guard should not take damage by kinetic weapon, before the thar-ga was impossible die from kinetic weapon by guard…
- Considering that, with the alien ship, the secret project become useless (see empire gunship)… why not reinsert monocrystal in lot rewards at the final of battle?
What happend with the “Excessive resources will be in inbox” option? I get container as a reward with unknown random content and that content gets destroyed after opening… I would love to sell the resource so it wouldn’t get destroyed.
That new container you can find, should NOT be 300 Irridum. You made it impossible to GET irridum from anything BUT rare search and that 1 daily mission from Theta station, so why make it cost so much? Stupid move on your part.

you can get lots of iridium from your corp owning a sector in Sector Conquest

You get 2 tokens the moment you cap a sector, so you dont need to hold it for 24hrs to start gaining

some resources to Tai’Kin still only with 10 pieces maximum…
i play the mission, i pay 50000 and the result: destroyed - and funny fact: sale price to this items are 3500.
why not raise the limit? or open a trade mode, in the market… at now, raise the limit will solve the problem
Thank you to have increased resource limit, but the Xeno-resource Bundle still get destroyed, i’ve done the mission and paid 50 000 credit and nothing.
Is it possible to do something for this too ?
At least give me resource that have not reach the limit !
