Hi guys,
I’m newbie and I don’t understand much about the implantation! So, I am asking for helps from you guys,…Veteran and Professional Pilots.
-
Will the implantation of one faction affect all other factions’ ships or it only takes affect on ships of ts own faction!?
-
Should I go for the implantation of the Federation or the Empire (if the implantation of any faction that affects all ships from other factions)?
Please help me! Thank you!
1. Implants affect all ships, but are limited by the rank(s) of the ship(s) you are using.
For example: You have all implants up to Rank 12, but you’re flying a Templar, which is a Rank 6 Jericho frigate. All your current implants, only up to your Rank 6 implant, will give bonuses to your Templar. If you want all your implants to work, use your highest-ranked ship.
2. All of the implants I have are Imperial (mostly damage+tanking), but some implants work with different play styles. Try to weigh between your choices and what bonuses you want on your ships. Federation has a lot of speed implants, so if GOING FAST is your thing, go for it.
If anyone else is more knowledgeable than I am on the subject, kindly fill in the details. You’ll be helping more players.
The answers above are mostly correct. You don’t want to stick to implants from 1 faction though, try to make an informed choice at every rank. Don’t be afraid to experiment as changing implants is relatively inexpensive.
There are a few implants which are generally considered ‘better’ than their counterparts but largely speaking go with your instinct(s).
Pick implants which match the ship type/class/role you prefer. So if you are focused on Jericho, for example, you want to help boost your shield advantages further. If you’re focused more on interceptors/speed - you wish to boost that further. Etc.
Thank you very much for your helps guys. Now I know what to implant for my ships. I knew that I’m not wrong when seeking for helps from Veteran Pilots!
Once again thank you very much and have a great day!

EDIT: Screw it, don’t have the game installed…

aaah that is what I was hoping for… as I have T12 on Fed… T6 on Imperial and T4 on Jericho… so I guess I will have to grind through. I take it now it is based upon which ships you have in the slots as I never switched to Jericho alighnment under contracts but I see I am gaining levels (implants) as I been (grinding through) thier ship tree lately to get to a certain Tier 3 ship.
