Need help identifying bug... or 2

So currently it seems that kinetic supercharger is… bugged? I’m not sure currently which is why I made this thread because overall I am so confused.

So problem 1.

-The damage doesn’t seem to be affected by the explosive modifier of Destroyers. Or anything really.

The listed damage on the weapon card used was roughly 720 damage… which turned into 562? I’m just… a… yeah. Pls help.

Aaaand problem 2.

-It… uh… isn’t hitting through the static shield sometimes? I dunno how this works.

Send help. Pls. Pls let the explosive stuff git fixed so torps don’t 1 shot half the hull of a destroyer. That’s a thing btw. Have fun with that knowledge.

Take Kinetic shield resistance into account. It hits through static shield because it explosion range touches destro shield hitbox.

Also it could be not explosive at all, just creating aoe cloud on impact. Dunno, it’s soviet technology.

check logs?

I mean… I would look through my logs but the log from that session is massive and I dunno where to begin looking for the bugs  ![:dntknw:](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/dntknw.gif “:dntknw:”)

You can check in custom how kinetic works as a start (and looking through new log file)

Are new entries generated even when you play and have the Combat log opened?

A new file is generated upon opening a client.

If you do not want to do that to get a new copy of a log, custom battle provides a controlled environment that you can easier search through a long log file.

Oh wait, you mean if log is appended while you are playing.

There are plenty of freeware tools online to see logs live, as it happens, as an example: http://www.log-expert.de/

That’s very useful. Thanks.
