I hope I got the map’s name right – the one with 3 beacons at 3 distinct structures, all connected through a series of static warp gates. Those warp gates are a major annoyance, whose functionality seems to depend entirely on obscure factors, such as time of day and moon constellation. Sometimes you fly through way off center and do warp, sometimes you fly right through the center and don’t warp at all, sometimes while warping you crash with “unknown” and die for no apparent reason other than those gates idiosyncrasies. Please make their behavior more predictable.
As much as I like Abandoned Outpost, those warp gates do need some fixing. My main issue is the warp-crash that occurs when entering/approaching a gate at certain angles.
Yesterday, I had the absolute pleasure of being denied warp not once, not twice, but THREE times. And I do think I have it recorded, so I’ll try uploading it when I get home.
I notice in more and more games that my teammates get aware of the “warp gate problem”. They are waiting for one after another to filter into the queue in front of warp gates. :good:
and i think of you hit the gate hull, you dont get that easily destroyed anymore. (maybe the detection radius gut reduced?)
You should have seen Ravender and I simultaneously fail to get through the gates right next to each other (each a different gate). Quite frustrating if you rely on those gates to get around - it’s removing a lot of tactical play from experienced pilots by becoming a ‘luck of the dice’ to see if they work or not.
