Hello there. It appears the Plasma Gun T1 Mk. III gets more accurate the more you fire, not less accurate.
With continuous fire, my reticle gets smaller and smaller, and the particles shoot straighter, so it appears to be real and not just a visual bug.
Unless this is intended behavior for the plasma gun.
I was flying my Dvergr at the time I noticed the bug.
If you require more information i would be happy to test this with other plasma guns, not just the mark III. I could also test with other interceptors.
I will also keep an eye out to see if any other weapon systems are affected.
Afaik it’s how the new plasma gun works, it’s the same on t2 and t3, idk why but the more u fire the lower the spread is, same with the plasma of frigates (dont remember the name)
if you look at the plasma gun info you will see spread: 2-0.2 (For example) that means that it stats with 2 and you can fire till it goes to 0.2, in the case of other weapons it would say 0.2-2 meaning that the more you fire the more the spread.
You have to create EM field when you want to shoot, and the more you shoot the stronger your EM field gets, lead to more accurate control of projectile :kamikadze:
