I had this happen to me tonight. It hasn’t happened before. I’m just wondering, why? It doesn’t seem right.
you hold the beacon in beacon hunt. maybe nobody is alive to watch?
you cant respawn if the bacon is yours.
Wow… Rank 9 ships amidst a T2 match… Isn’t that lovely… I wouldn’t be surprised if the game actually told you you couldn’t spawn because you had ships outside the tier you’re playing, but g4borg’s right. In Beacon Hunt matches, if your team controls the Beacon and you die, you don’t get the respawn timer until the next Beacon has appeared.
Normally I’d just watch another player, and there’s one more player alive. Me and another player caught an aim locker that way. Maybe it was just the timing and I went to the hold screen and then he spawned? I’d probably have to look at the logs to figure that out.
The Beacon was likely under your control, taken away, he died, you retook control, then all three of you died while he managed to respawn.
