A while ago, I began noticing a problem with my afterburners, I could not use them dispite the fact that there were no guard ships blocking it. On all of my ships, I hold shift (default afterburner control, and yes I checked the keybindings likr a million times) and nothing happens. Well, thats not true, my energy goes down as I hold shift, as soon as I let go, it stops. This problem only happens on pvp and pve, practice battles and combat training, works fine. This was at first only on one computer, so a new computer replaced it, and it worked for about 3 hours. Ihad my friend look at the files, he said there were like 171,100 game files corrupted, so we reinstalled the game. The problem is still there. And its not just for me, its for anyone who logs into that computer, shift still works as a key, just it doesnt turn on afterburners. One more thing, even though the afterburners dont turn on, the speedometer says that its at half afterburner speed.
You might need to go to your settings menu, and under the ‘game’ tab uncheck the “afterburner re-activation” option. If you have it turned on, turn it off.
