That’s completely new event. At the end of the event xenochips are removed from players account.

because there’s a different use for these ones, xenochips are always a temporary placeholder currency
ok, didn’t need to buy these boxes because i just miss electrum to build r 16 ship. Didn’t understood it was removed for this update…
oh well, was just only 350 xenos, no big deal, but still…

If you bought the no longer needed wolfhound and granite boxes, you would have earned c 10-20 monocrystals per box. Similar to the special parts missions for ships like nightingale, if you have it and buy the special nightingale containers you would get monocrystals instead of surplus of nightingale parts.
got already surplus… of parts, but not of monocrystals as before…
but, maybe didn’t see if amount changed, just saw i got part of karud or nightingale…
no matter, it’s too late now
