My hello to new friends and enemies alike!

Good evening pilots!

This is going to be my post where I would like to introduce myself. I’m sure some of you may know me already as my first few hours playing seems to have already sparked some small fires :). It really turned me on to the game as much as it may seem like a negative, it is not and I hope you do not take my intentions the wrong way. I am a respectable, well mannered person.

I’ll start with a little background on myself. Don’t let my formal life confuse you though. When I am done with my job I have fun. I have just found a nice medium between staying professional and having a fun night life  But yes, as far as my personal life goes, I am currently employed as a Wyndham franchise project coordinator. What I do is, when the hotel company I work for open a new hotel or buys out another hotel in the Midwest area, I step in and oversee the transfer and setup of operations and insure everyone is properly trained. It has me traveling a lot and i am only home about one month out of the year. It has been amazing and I love how I get to see new places all the time. Along with this is the never ending learning experience of getting people together and finding the best qualities in everyone. And that brings me to my gaming life.

From doing this so much in my career, its given me an awesome one up on  coordinating projects in MMORPGs. And my weapon of choice has been Eve Online. It has been for the past 7 years. I’ve found a nice groove in diplomatic affairs and large project planning. I won’t bore you with the details, but I currently run a corporation of 150+ members which consists of a small industrial branch and a large nullsec PvP fleet. This does eat up most of my free time so I am handing many of my duties off to some of my close friends and confidants in the game because i would really like to spend more time with Star Conflict as i see some potential in it. I very much enjoy the dog fighting aspect of it and would like to see myself getting a small group of players together and maybe do something worth while here  Now I have never played this game. I do not have much experience with this style of game either.  I expect to spend a significant amount of time researching and learning as much as I can.

So I here I am. Ready to take on this new style and see what It can bring me. I will be seeing you around!

Hi and welcome.

Forget whatever you learnt in EvE. Here is not about the numbers, but about the skill. And your fleet commander is always a n00b which match you against even teams.

See you in my sights (most likely)

Btw, Is it worth just getting the Elite Pilot DLC right off the bat and getting the month licences? From the looks of it I am thinking so. Seems like a whole lot of grinding to do otherwise.

It depends on what you want. The elite pilot DLC ships are not OP, but they are premium and fully synergized. If you want the gold standards, then it is a good deal. License will make the things go faster, but it is not needed until Tier 3-4.

Welcome to the game Deepfield.  :salute:

ALWAYS wait for weekend sales and promotional discounts!

Welcome, can’t wait to see you out in space.  Beware of the Ace mindset, it will ruin you.

Welcome. Hope you enjoy the game.

Wait until you reach T3 in credit ships before using those premium ships.  Otherwise you’re going to have a really bad time.

Dude has a good job. He can afford it

It’s not about cost, it’s about experience.

Welcome. See you in Battle.
