My friends and family disagree that the points system is not bugged

My friends and family experimented and said that what Error said is not true. We won 1 PVP match and learned most of the game through PVE. Error it is a real error to ignore what people say. I kept shooting at a Nav target way ahead of the other player when they have newbie ships and stil I got credited with less points.

 

Gaijin entertainment is new in the industry, we hope more effort can be made to turn this game better. Locking threads is very antisocial and we have to disagree with you. I represent my Singapore community from people who learned of this game from cybercafes and all are displeased you do not think the point system is bugged when people tested it. :008j:

 

Maybe you could give me some pointers on system settings and what ships to use to prove you know the game, any type of idea contribution would help besides locking threads. If you lock this thread something is not right some where. Pardon my english, this is my 4th post on a english forum that is Russian based entertainment company.

 

I like this game but need more assistance, thank you.

Ah Hi Error, now I only have 200GB space left on my computer which I have to use for some other work applications, so the thing is I cannot record videos as I lack the hardware and software myself. Please help me get better in this game, it is very interesting. Also I know of some people like Savij (Game ID not real person name) that is a cyber guardian that is related to me that say this is a problem I am facing.

 

I am in the Guild Dawn of Legends, it is a just a test group so if you could kindly contact them through in-game mail about my problem with the score system it might help. I am not very experience in computer design but my friends tell me that the score I get is not what most people would feel is accurate. Some people say that it might be a software settings problem, do you have associates who could tell me how to configure my system properly to help get better in PVE and maybe PVP? I am sure Gaijin would like help so please do tell if you are hiring programmers, I might get my good at computer family members to contact you. They say they are monitoring this game as well because it is free and good.

How can you be so sure the game is bugging, and the issue is not USER ERROR?? Just because someone who does not exist in game told you the game is bugged? The game is not bugged, you just need more practice because you have bad aim.

 

Also not all objectives in the game give you the same amount of points when you kill them. So just because you did the most damage does not mean you will have the most points.

Excuse me but you and your family are speaking from ignorance, you have an almost zero experience with this game, you don’t know how the points system works. Gaijin is not a new company in the market, what you consider bugs are game features that you and your family simply don’t understand. Also I don’t know what’s wrong with your English, and I don’t want to offend you or your beloved family but I doubt that you can even properly understand what people here is trying to say to you. You are also refusing to provide the basic elements of any proper bug report. You just made 5 threads about the same subjects so it’s expected if they’re blocked, you’re not providing any useful information to get the bug fixed.

Again there are no bugs here, you are just another new player confused by how the system works, just keep playing and eventually you will understand everything.

 

PS: I don’t know how old are you but you should start making decissions yourself instead of blindly following what your father/family says.

We apologise if you think we are trolling, apparently my father says we will not play with your accounts any further because my father Savij is a well known cyber guardian and admits that we cannot talk to people or play with them when they say we are trolling. I do not have time to argue abou the demerits of the current system, as I have work to do and not programming savvy.

 

It shows that there are forces at work here in the forum that cannot allow people to speak their free minds, if you say people are trolling without even offering legitimate assistance, this shows we cannot and will not work together with you and people that do not offer assitance and accuse people of trolling when my first post is asking for help instead claiming that we cannot work together.

 

I need my father’s advice and will always listen to him for the right reasons. We have ignore options and will use it.

I am busy working on other work projects and my father and family insist that the bug report method in this forum is obsolete method of submitting bug reports, I myself am very poor in computer technical knowledge and get confused even reading such an obsolete format. My friend Pinky131 is very computer savvy and says I do not understand the current bugs reporting system as it is obsolete and too complicated. If you speak to Neverfor, the guild leader of my corporation Dawn of Legends, he can better explain what he thinks is wrong with the current points system.

 

Thank you for your suggestion, but we still have not solved what my friends and family admit is a problem. We hope more constructive advice can come about to make this game better, thank you.

After they have done so, a moderator will pass it along to the developers. But it has to be a complete bug report with the proper details, or it won’t help.

Hi Soldiersfortune, my friends and family know it is a obsolete format for bug reporting. We decided that this forum is not where people need to go to get change done. So very simple, we will mod the game to our purposes. We cannot do illegal things as this is a pegi 12 thing, but pinky131 my close friend in Singapore will see of mods will change the game. Remember we will not comply with the devs if the game is not to our taste.

If pinky131 is as knowledgeable as you claim, he/she will also know that modding the game is a direct violation of the Terms of Service that every player agrees to by installing and playing the game. And that violation can and will result in your accounts being banned.

 

I caution you, nothing good will come of what you are attempting. You might be able to change the files on your computers, but this game is almost entirely server based. The changes that you wish to see cannot be done by modifying the client files. They can only be done by the developers on the server files.

 

So whether or not your family knows this to be an obsolete method, it is the only method that is approved, and the only one that will produce results if results are to be had.

 

Again: Modding the game files is a violation of the Terms of Service. You will be banned if you proceed.

Modding the game is against the rules, as already stated by the guys before.

The Bug report system is not going to change. We need all the information in the bug report in order to be able to indentify the bug. Without proper information it might take us weeks of searching for a single bug and this is not efficient.

You and your family just need to stop being ignorants about how this game works.

you will be probably faster if you implement a game you whish to play from scratch, than mod around in a client software which is not designed for modding, no matter what. even if you manage to decrypt and decompile the client, you would have to use your own server code / server hardware to run a modded game, not just because it’s in the ToS (Terms Of Service), but because using a modified client to connect to online services can be legally challenged, even without a ToS.

 

in the end, even if you manage with legal acrobatics to make a mod, you are not permitted to distribute the files as your own work, because of the art assets (music, models, textures), so basicly all you will have after hours of work is a game you can play with your family on your own servers, with no ways of legally building up a game where you can create a community to keep the game running.

 

since 200GB of space is more than enough for a video (20GB is more than enough for a 10 min youtube clip, including the needed swap space for editing), it’s a lot less work to simply create one to address your issues.

 

there is nothing “obsolete” about these bug reports; maybe except that they do not use a kind of bug tracker - but the customers are players, not developers, who can easily use forums, and follow some steps in a post, than be asked to handle a bug tracker.

 

So far I understand, you feel the score system is not fair. There is no such thing as a fair score system. This game looks kiddish at first glance, but the core mechanics are actually challenging even for experienced video game players, so you have many players between 20-40 yrs aswell playing; you cannot expect to perform perfectly from the start of your pewpew career. Consider trying to participate in the community, and gather experience, but also document your problems and post your ideas. You will see, if you want to contribute to the game in your own way, you can.

I advice you to take a look at the suggestion forums aswell, as to research discussions in the community about issues.
