Unknown. It happened at Monolith Ruins in Combat Recon in Tier V, when I was using a destroyer. I could try to replicate the same circumstances.
I know that niripas had the same issue as I did. It happened to him as well, on the same ship - Sirius.
Destroyer exploded at 80%-90% hull left (Sirius - Federation Rank 14). Message and log entry shows self-destruct, but that’s false!
I am afraid that this bug is not as rare as you might want to think. It’s hard to spot, if you’re not careful, so it’s easily missed.
I suspect that Tai’Kin/s had something to do with it. However, more data is required!
