Before I start my thread,
Warning:
-
This build is for Open Space. If you are looking for PVP Build, this is not for you.
-
This build struggles at high difficulty level open space, so use with cautions!
First thing, first.
These are my settings.
As you guys know, Cyning is not for dealing DMG.
However, in Open Space, you cannot always depend on your friends to accomplish Timed Open Space Mission.
So, instead of maximizing DMG, I tried to maximize Sensor Range and Firing Range, and this is the result.
1. Weapon : Phase Suppressor ( Flat Reflector )
=> This is my best choice to maximize my firing range.
-
moderate disperse
-
access to flat reflector
-
mid - long range
-
deals additional dmg
-
hinders enemy from regenerating hull and shield.
2. Missile Bay : Attack Drone
=> Automatically attack enemy that I target in 10000m.
3. Module
- Repair Kit
=> Nothing to say about this.
- Nanocomposite Coating
=> This is empire ship. So, no need for shield.
- Holoship
=> This is my last resort to avoid being destroyed. AI can be probably fooled by hologram.
- Phase Modulator
=> This is used when I’m in danger.
4. Crew Skill
-
Crucial : Must go with 2B, 6C, 7B, 8A, 9B, 10A, 13A, 14C, 15B.
-
Recommended: 4A, 5B
-
Free: Skill level 1,3,11,12 depend on your preference.
5. Slot
3/1/0/2/3
1) Engine: Catalyst Injector for more speed, Tetroxide Injector for acceleration and strafe, Collision compensator for PvP region of open space.
2) Capacitor: Emergency barrier for my second life.
3) Empire says 'What is shield?"
4) Hull: If u don’t have enough gold, go with Reinforced Beam, Regenerative Coating.
Else, I recommend using Extended hull, Regenerative Coating.
5) CPU: Enhanced Scanner for spotting enemy, Horizon Module for maximizing your firing range. Last slot depends on your preference.
6. Tactic
Do not dogfight with this build!
Play as if you are long range frigate!
Spoiler
Like this.
Even without Attack Drone, you can gun down some tough enemies.
Attack at almost your maximum range, and AIs will come to you. Boost back and strafe to use your distance advantage.
If enemy is too close to comfort, use your micro-warp, rearrange and do it again.
7. Pros and cons
Pros: 1) If you know the trigger distance ( Where AI recognizes you and starts engaging you ), you are almost invincible.
2) It is fun to play. (At least for me)
Cons: 1) Somewhat time-consuming, if you are short of time, never use this build.
2) If other players attack you in PVP Open Space, just RUN!
