Mutation Matrix Booster: “Removes or increases the Mutation point cap limit on all Ellydium ships.”
Active time: 3 hours
Currency cost: 50 GS
Available modes: PvE / Special Operation / Open Space / Custom Battle
Restricted modes: PvP / Co-op
Additional restrictions: Inactive nodes and blueprints still need to be researched or learned in advance. Inactive nodes and blueprints will be unaffected otherwise.
Imposed Mutation point cap limit on the Defence and Offense category nodes is still applied since you cannot select both nodes bonuses at once.
Thar’Ga: 1125 Mutation point cap limit is increased or removed for all nodes.
Tai’Kin: 1125 Mutation point cap limit is increased or removed for all nodes.
Waz’Got: 1250 Mutation point cap limit is increased or removed for all nodes.
Another alternative way of getting this Ellydium Matrix Booster is to craft it in the Workshop.
If it’s crafted in the Workshop, the Booster can be activated or used, and the icon indicator will show whenever it’s active.
Going into PvP or Co-op mode will automatically remove it and reset it to your previous ship setup.
One Booster can affect all Ellydium ships in your ship’s slots at once. If it’s active, it will show up in the Bonuses section.
I voted no because they need to remove the cap for PVE so the tharga taikin and wasgot can do the job they used to do in PVE before the PVPers ruined it for all of us…
SEPARATE PVE FROM PVP LIKE ALL THE REST OF THE GAMES DO !!!

You voted “No.” just because you don’t agree with something else that I have no influence over?
This is unrelated to my suggestion!
It’s like saying that you won’t play Star Conflict anymore because Trump was elected the President.

I honestly don’t know what that has to do with the nerfing of $500 ships … maybe its because their alien ships … who knows … but the point is that if they were nerfed it stands to reason the Dev’s that nerfed the ships wont give us farmable buffs for the nerfed ships to make them the way they were before the nerf patches … These polls are useless anyway … the Dev’s will do what they want regardless as we all know … What they might do is give us a fighting chance in Co-Op and PVE against the +500% damage and 2500% hull and shield the AI have in PVE … like it was when the tharga taikin and wasgot first came out… or we could just wait till 2025 for the next Elly ship to come out and have fun in PVE for a few weeks till its nerfed too .

Again. Please stop using bold text. Pretty please.
Also dunno what your problem is. Taikin and Tharga are still very capable ships in PvE - they can carry the whole Ariadne’s Thread or Defence Contract. You said that the average run for Defence Contract is roughly 6 minutes, here you go:
Spoiler
I am against boosting current ships stats in PvE as it will create a situation that PvE will be just too easy and boring. Currently you can do Defence Contract in around 3:35 repeatedly, how much more do you want to nerf the HARD mode?
I would honestly be OK if I never saw an ellydium ship in PvP ever again. Just make them OS exclusives or something. With the regen and moving capabilities they are fantastic fits. If this happens, they can completely remove the node cap for all I care.
Some of them look decent, it’s not a world ending fault.

And what is wrong with ellydium ships?
I think the the main issue with Ellydium ships is that they are so completely customisable that you can tune them any way you wish. Which, as this is SC, means that you can make them stupid op, or just make them hands down superior to their regular faction counter-parts. Which is really the same thing.

You don’t have an ellydium ship maxed out, do you?

Its true a group of veteran players can blaze through PVE in a flash … what about the rest of the player base ? you can’t level a rank 12 interceptor in a rank 10 PVE … so how does the n00b level his rank 12 interceptor ? and what about the veteran player with a 40,000 DPS Tyrant ??? how does he do Ariadne’s Thread alone or fire support or many others solo??? . So I as a solo player using the MM in a multi player game can’t get a team from the 1,000’s of players online that can back me up in a random PVE match? its fine if I have a 4 man team that plays what ever I want when ever I want every day I want … but that’s not going to happen EVER so … there I am … a solo player in a random queue with Aces fighting AI with +500% damage and +2500% HP …

No, of course not. Because I’m an Ace. And despite playing this game for over 3 years I’ve not broken 200 hours. But I’ve played with Ellydium ships more than regular faction ships so I’d like to think that I know something.

You just called someone with R12 ship a newbie. It’s almost endgame level and at that rank player should be considered veteran. I was leveling up those ships in PvEs that part of would justify using of interceptor (Crimson Haze first and second stage for covops, Cap Dread first stage for covops/recon, first stage of Fort Muerto for covops/recon/ECM, etc), but that’s why we also have a Coop mode in this game. And Open Space. You honestly don’t suggest to level up ECM in Fire Support, don’t you? Due to complain of yours and one other person I checked all PvE maps. All maps can be done with two R11 players, except the first stage of Captured Dread and of course Ariadne’s Thread. And if you can solo Ariadne’s Thread in your Tyrant, then the difficulty level for that map is spot on. High risk - high reward.
I found out that easiest map is Processing Rig (not a single failed game in last few days).
So here you go - you don’t need a 4 man squad - you just need few contacts to people that want to play with you, communicate with them and PvE will be a breeze. And believe me - there are some crazy PvE maniacs in this game (I know, I did the 1200 Fire Support runs in a row with few of them) I found them playing PvE and if I seen someone that was doing good I asked him if I can add him to contact list to play together later.
And regarding the solo queue - there is one serious problem about it. Solo queuing are mostly people that know they can carry a game or don’t care. People that want to have quick and efficient PvEs are usually playing with someone from their contact list.
