More Fuel Types

I think we can all agree that keeping up with fuel is the most annoying part of Invasion. I propose a wider verity of fuels.

Engine Plasma: Dropped by Hunters and always restores all fuel.

Biofuel: Dropped by Biomorphs and restores 50pts.

Illegal Fuel: Dropped by Pirates and restores 15-50pts.

Any other suggestions?

Invasion is boring. Giving fuel drops different names won’t change a thing about it.

And fuel is only annoying when jumping into a gate camp and having forgotten to top off your fuel. :wink:

And when you travel a lot… Fuel is a necessity.

And giving it more drop-titles lets it drop from more enemies. Aliens currently drop no fuel and pirates drop a max of like 20pts worth. Letting aliens drop fuel will also be good for people in the Unknown Sector. I find my self with no fuel in Unknown Sector all the time.

Every sector has at least 1 static wreck where you get 50 point fuel drums. Unknown sector has at least 2 of those. Or even easier, kill another player and take their fuel.

In known space you also get 50 point drums at nearly every pirate turret installation.

In a ship that goes 220m/s WITH afterburners. Nope. I need fuel that tries to kill me.

Esp because I can’t cloak-run. :confused:

If it doesn’t go 700 m/s in Invasion it’s not a ship, it’s an asteroid. :stuck_out_tongue:

There it is. Fast ships can’t fight at all but they can move pretty well. Fat ships can fight back but at cost of speed. I don’t see the problem there.

Fast ships can only fight an enemy that isn’t targeting them. Slow ships are generally tanks and can fight anything. There are also some fighters that can hold up pretty well in a fight. Tacklers are one of my fav.

Well tacklers have been always ez mode, you can pretty much melt pirates thanks to Target Painter + usually a good amount of Capacitors or CPU. Also cloak to scape and decent speed.
