Module tutorials

I love the tutorials you give beginners that let them try out a ship and shoot at things, but I have seen way too many pilots that have no clue how to effectively use modules. Namely repair and engi modules. It would be nice if you would give a tutorial teaching new players that modules can and will turn the tables in a match. And how to use the different types of modules. Like a tutorial for each ship type.

I also feel a bit stupid for not raising this issue earlier.

A good class tutorial is needed badly.

Why does the combat tutorial use a T4 Empire Prometheus Fire but make it a tackler?  Why are PvE bots in Blackwood an Empire “LRF” yet they have a Missile Shield and can generate a Pulsar?  It’s like you’re hinting at the possibility that roles can exist in factions they do not, or you’re implying that Empire’s superior, or something else entirely!  It’s all wrong!

 

But yes, a tutorial for module usage would help.  I’d prefer something short and simple.  Tell the user this is how you are without the module, and this is out you are with the module.  There’s no need for battles.  Even for flares, a player needs to move.  A whole battle won’t teach them that, they’ll “learn” something else instead.

And have drones. Don’t forget about that. It’s like the spawn of one giant CF of frigates. I want one.

Like the pulsar with infinite range and deals 1000k damage a hit without having over 100 thermal resistance. Or the target painter with no cooldown.
