Playing as Engineer Frigates is what I do quite a bit because it seems 90% of the game hasn’t ever heard of them, so I have begun attempting to get my team to utilize my warp gates. However, come to find out, when they do, they crash into one another. What is the point of a warp gate if they’re just going to knock into one another? Shouldn’t they jump right behind one another, the result being a long line of jumping ships? Not multiple crashes strung together.
Really need to fix this as well as a few other, obvious things with Engineers… Warp Gates are great, but most of the time the team doesn’t know they are there or they don’t use them for whatever reason.

No idea what Tier you are playing. There are plenty of T3 inty pilots complaining about Engineer spam to tell me they are used quite frequently.
Player ships are not locked into a trajectory like the stationary warp gates found on that newer map. Provided you give them enough room to maneuver, and provided they aren’t idiots, players can warp through your mobile warp gates at slightly different angles to avoid massive pileups.
The trajectory you enter gate is the trajectory you’re thrown at, not the gate’s direction. If you’re aiming between 2 rocks, rest assured SOMEONE will drive themselves into one of those rocks cause they steered their ship like that.

Battles in T3 are usually:
anything goes
Inty wins
frigates win(especially beacon mode… 10 mine fields on the last beacon…
