Mission transports and speed bonuses

I’m really curious who thought this was something that needed to be nerfed.

When I was zipping around on my Hammerhead at top speed and that got nerfed, I could see a rationale. “Engineers are supposed to be slow, you’re breaking our design aesthetic.” I didn’t like it, but okay.

When I was popping in and out of invisibility on my Tai’Kin and that got nerfed, sure. I could see how some people in PvP may have found that annoying. Hilarious, but annoying.

But why stop us from speeding up transports in missions? That’s just good resource utilization. We should be punished for making the tedious parts of the game slightly less tedious? What problem was this causing?

I swear I’m starting to feel like the Maple of this game…
