When playing PvP, as of a few days ago, I keep getting placed in match types like Beacon Hunt and Combat Recon. Now as I understand it, these are tier 2 match types, and only accessible if you have tier 2 ships in your ships listing. Before this week, the only game types I was offered were Domination and Team Battle.
The ships I have listed at the moment are the Hercules, Dvergr 2 and Raptor-M, which to my knowledge are all tier 1 ships. So how is it I keep getting thrown into these tier 2 match types in tier 2 arenas against a load of people with tier 2 ships?
Yes, I could probably upgrade my ships to match, but that’s not what I want, I’m still struggling to get the upper hand in the tier 1 match types against tier 1 opponents in tier 1 ships, and this thing is really killing the fun of this.

The game modes are changed from time to time.
Further more your T1 ships will be counted as T2 after some time to prevent Ace farming.
What you need, is an instructor, who will tutor you in the ways of the force, eh, I mean Star Conflict.

I’m going for this title also, but I’m finding it really hard since I keep being put in t2 matches with my recruit, even though we both have t1s in hangar. So as you say Error, this system has been put in place to to prevent Ace farming, but inversely it is us that are being farmed by t2 pilots while we are in t1 ships!!!
To the OP, I think this is your problem also. You have reached a certain (unkown) level where t1 PVP is now unavailable to you. So now you will have to level your t1 ships in t2 PVP or in PVE I guess.
