mark V blueprint "information status" and daily blueprint errand "special" side-mission

I got the following suggestion.

Suggestion 1

Give us a choice that we can select any unavailable blueprint “not learned” design in the Workshop with another option/twist.

Question “?” or Info “i” mark icon on each blueprint design can summon an Informant, who will tell us, where to look for the selected blueprint.

Informant will tell you current sector location, where the blueprint is currently available in the “mysterious container”.

You can also ignore an Informant and just add information about the location/sector, where the blueprint design is located in mysterious container.

If the mysterious container has been claimed and there is no blueprint yet available for this specific design, the information window/Informant will tell you that.

An example:

I want a specific blueprint, like T5 Singularity Cannon mark V.

I click on the “?” or “i” window on the blueprint and it tells me this:

  • currently located at: Federation - Research Center

If there is no available blueprints of this kind in all of the sectors, it will tell me this:

  • currently not present in any sectors.

Each click on the information bar requires use of regular credits.

100000 credits per each information peek.

There is a 5 minutes cooldown for the specific blueprint design, if you clicked on the information bar already.

Of course, all else remains the same. Chances without spatial scanner are very slim, unless if you know and can guess the exact “mysterious container” spot with some good luck.

Suggestion 2

Provide us with an errand mission, which will “rewards us” by getting a blueprint, we need (not learned).

Choice of the blueprint design is random, but it never repeats itself.

You cannot gain the same blueprints twice through the side-mission, if you already learned it.

Objective:

An example:

Pick up an object/package at X location and deliver it to another X location in another sector.

Mandatory use of T4 or T5 ship is recommended.

Getting killed by any means (self-destruct, killed by pirate or human player), fails the mission.

Failed mission cannot be restarted for the whole day (24 hours) period.

If successful, it gives you any blueprint, which was previously not obtained and also non-buyable in the workshop.

Of course, there could be more errands like this, but they would need to be harder.

Feel free to add your version of an “errand” mission or “special” mission, if it fits into different category.

Suggestion 3

Obtain the selected blueprint design without any need of going into Invasion mode.

Recommended for players without spatial scanners and T3 ships, but not above.

To obtain one selected blueprint, it is necessary to have all 3 requirements fulfilled at the same time:

  • use of loyalty vouchers, depending on the type of weapon, equipment or module (cost remains the same for each tier)

  • use of artifacts, equivalent to the artifact cost for T5 weapon, equipment or module

  • use of credits, which is required to cover the the whole blueprint transaction (paid in full)

There should be another icon bar, if we would want to use that option.

Feel free to comment on this subject.

Sincerely, Koromac

why?

why?

coz he cannot find one or two BP and wants a shortcut

suggestion 1: declined as this not adequate, if you reach the sector the item is more or less sure to be taken by someone else, therefore spend money for nothing

suggestion 2: there will be no such special BP mission, you already raised a thread to have the propability of loot more linked to your warehouse, this will helps

suggestion 2: duplicated idea from you, this have already been stated that they are reviewing to grant access to BP for player without going to Invasion

He’s hardly the only player who doesn’t like Invasion. I actually think the game would be better if they scrapped the whole thing and put their focus back on PvP where it belongs.

You are correct. I can salvage materials from kits/mk II equipment to get my resources 10000 times faster, than I would need to get a single piece of ore in Invasion, where I am limited to 1 cargo slot per item.

After 3 or 6 ore, I would have to redock, assuming I am lucky enough to find the one, I am searching for and not 100 credits, which makes no sense to me.

Whole Invasion bussiness was put together in a hurry and you can see how much it is lacking, if you just compare this game with the older games of the same title, like Freelancer.

Invasion for me can get scrapped ASAP. We won’t miss anything. All we have now, is a bunch of fresh people falling to the “hardened war veterans”. They complain, then they rage-quit and then they are lost forever.

I do not know, why was the concept of SQ and PVP focus/dispersed/abandoned and the main effort was put on Invasion mission solely. Even Star Conflict now bears the title of Star Conflict - Invasion.

Maybe some of you don’t like invasion, but many people who have joined the game recently love it. And I always see people in invasion all the time, just having fun.

Also, it is relaxing and sometimes people just want to cruise on maps and pick up minerals and lost cargos under station protection.

By the way, do you know if there is some kind of rule for finding blueprints ? For instance : weapons blueprint can be found in the sector of its manufacturer (the faction you need loyalty points from to upgrade the weapon to mk3).

Is there a link between the level of a zone and the probability of finding a blueprint ?

I tend to roam in level 10 zones most of the time because I imagine loot is better there, but I often find a cockpit light at 1mil in the lower zones.

If not, I will make a post to suggest that, in complement of koromac’s suggestion of linking the mysterious container’s content to your warhouse’s

It is all random, i have yet to see any difference in loot from mysterious containers from Danger 7 or Danger 10 zones

ok thanks. Do you think it’s worth suggesting it ?

I, personally, like “Random” others - might not so much

Im not sure if to comply with Koromac’s ideas, but i do agree that finding blueprints sucks and drop is too low (i dont have spatial scanner, but i know lots of special containers locations and i’ve picked them up a hughe amount of times, i have dropped almost every T5 module blueprint but i still dont have any weapon blueprint)

Hmm… I can agree that finding BPs is a little tedious task, but after getting my last two I can’t justify myself to fly in open space anymore except for the monocrystals mission. So - all in all - they rarity keep me flying around there for few months and I know every nook and cranny in those locations.

Edit: Just to clarify - Positrons came from SpecOps drop, so I couldn’t send it to you :frowning:

Mr Brag

Well, I got all of the blueprints for quite some time now. Special Ops and Invasion became completely irrelevant for me, except for the daily monocrystal mission and karma, I mean reputation score points, but I think I’ll pass.

I don’t need 500000 reputation to have either + 5 or - 5 status. It’s just ridiculous.

I would rather pay GS, than to grind it for weeks or months.

You can already pay GS currency, if you got - karma, but you can’t pay it, to increase it.
