Loyalty

I am a supporter of the devs, but to stop a lot of kids from rage quitting a bit better compensation might have been good.

no. just no

why in the nine hells even get to compensating players?!?

if the devs would have used their brains when making this change they would have had the contract system READY when they made the change and they wouldn’t be patching it as we go along.

after the bitter taste of today’s patch i’m seriously considering getting a reimbursement for the dlc pack and uninstalling the game (the guys i managed to get into the game are very close to quitting the game too)

Consider the game started with a loyalty system like this. Actually if you think a bout it, the game didn’t even start, it’s still in Beta. This is the correct loyalty system, not the quicky quicky i’m rank 12 in a month on all factions. Thanks.

You should devs wasted the momentum they got from steam release, now is all full of bad recommendations there. Small games like this one get only 1 chance to gain momentum and thats when they release

i think the new system is finally working very well, iv got 2 contracts worth around 1400rep each on an hour cooldown aswell as a few lesser ones (4-800). then every 18hrs i can do some other nice big ones

if im playin a lot in one day i jump between sub factions till all 18hr ones r done etc

i think the progression is pretty much where it should b

Still mad? go farm purples, they’re better than blues anyway!

+50% loyalty income this week.

No this is not acceptable compensation.

I can’t even play this week my computer is broken. This is bullshit.

stop calling it a beta or using that label as an excuse for the fucked up contracts - they are charging people money for some things and there will be no wipes

i don’t care if they want to still call it beta, it’s not a beta anymore, it’s a released game

at the end of a beta you get a wipe, everyone starts from the beginning

Had a thought. The play a battle using the ships of your subduction would be a great no cool down or permanent contract. You actually have to use the ships.

So much this. As soon as you start charging money you cant call it beta anymore for an excuse.

Consider this,

Some mmo’s offer preorder packages to be delivered on release, sometimes before(with bonuses to players currently in beta, and no I cannot think of a really good example ATM, except maybe d&d neverwinter nights) and that is being withdrawn from accounts, yet it isn’t released yet.

People need to move away from retail purchase perspective and realize online game structures are much more diverse.

Also, a horny wife cheats on her husband with the excuse that he wasn’t sufficient/rich/kind enough, even though it is a bad excuse doesn’t mean it isn’t a valid one. FFT.

If they go on like that this game gonna be crap.

Its sad, it looked so awesome the first time i logged in…

Yes, you can. You knew it was a beta before you downloaded the game, and you knew it was a beta before you paid

When you see “beta”, it means that major changes may come to the game. Major, unpredictable changes, and the game may not be completely ‘set’ yet. Some people (myself included) are perfectly comfortable spending a few bucks on the game despite the risk that there may come changes we don’t like. If you aren’t, then leave and come back when the game isn’t in beta.

I’m playing right now and having a great time.

Only complaint is it gets a bit expensive to switch between Contracts.

So either more Contracts (maybe cycling through the small ones) or reduce the silver price to change Contracts.

I think the current contract system is manageable (not ideal)…just need to game the system a little by constantly switching to a different faction. However, is that what the dev originally intended?

I agree that the previous system of gaining loyalty is too fast…but I also do not agree that the current changes is good. The cool down makes me log in once every few hours if possible to do my contracts…then I’m out again. Isn’t the point of any online game to keep players logged in and playing? Also, the progress of loyalty and reputation is so disproportionate that I’m almost to rank 9 now and yet only 4 of my factions is at rank 6, and that was before the change. This kinda makes Mk3 equipment pointless for new players to grind…and if that’s the case, why have it in there? I really fail to see the logic of this change and it seems to me that this is a move to “motivate” players to purchase gold modules.

On the recent fix and the hotfix last week, it doesn’t change anything in the grand scheme of things. I feel like the dev is just throwing out candies to shut the players up…and the candy doesn’t even taste good. No change for 7days contract…that’s where the bulk of the loyalty is in. A buff to the reward and CD of 2hr contracts, insignificant change. Shorten 1day contract to 18 hours…really? Is that really going to matter? If you’re assuming players wait exactly 24 hours to do their 1 day contract previously, and now players wait exactly 18 hours for it to CD, then yes. It feels to me like an insult.

I really love this game, and don’t want to see it tanked. However, I’m noticing a disturbing trend. The 2 weeks before the change, I’m frequently seeing 2000-2100 players online at my peak hour, and 900+ on my non-peak. This week, I’m looking at 1800-1900 at peak, 700-800 at non peak. Couple that with the change, and the way they handle it…I’m loosing confidence in them. I haven’t played any battles for the last 3 days…and I can say I’m no longer as hooked to this game as I once was before the change.

Agreed.

All of the stuff going on has left a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t regret buying my license for the time I had prior to the “fixes” but I’m not going to spend another dime in this game until things are adjusted to an acceptable level.

I redommend to use a new thread, because thursdays update already did some changes.
