I’m using keyboard and mouse. When I launch into battle, my ship rolls around and it can’t be controlled in any direction. It was working fine before, I tried clearing the bind to default, but still it’s rolling outtas control…my keybord and mouse work fine in every other application. Anyone?

That must me a packet loss peak. Try to host a custom game in your home server (the one you have closer) and see if that happens again.
I restarted the game, not fixed, then restarted my computer, still not fixed. Posted here, then restared the game, and it seems to work again. I had this happen to me in-game before this but it fixed itself after the next launch.
Same thing happens to me from time to time while I always quene in RU servers.
It seems that a part of the server haven’t been maintained well. I get quened into a server, then about 20 or 30 sec later, the packet loss catch me (30% packet loss = reducing all attack and defend capabilities on your ship by 80%).
You know what? That’s the “best” in-game debuff one could ever taken…
When under the heavy PL (packet loss) debuff (PL >= 10%):
- You can’t shoot well since your target is phasing or jumping.
- You can’t interact in time since suddenly there could be a recon jumping from nowhere already stealing all your shields and rocket bamming you to the preparation screen.
- You have to alt+f4 and relogin into game to get rid of PL, and sometimes you have to do it mutiple times to finally get rid of it. And at that time, the match is probably going to end soon.
Please check the whole server to see if there’s any component running silly.
you can see fps and ping. there is an option for it somewhere :fed001:

press F11
Additionally, untick and retick the vsync will probably reduce the lag feeling in the game as well (donno why it can’t auto svync when game starts…).
Also “Expert” controlling mode reduce some wobbliness when you are ~150 ping or highier.
