If I was to start a plan and script for a sort of “player acted” version of the current star conflict a trailer would anyone be interested in being a part of it? My computer can’t generally run the game on decent graphics and record at the same time, so I would need others to spectate and record.
I have a plan for recording done, and the audio will simply be that of the trailer, just with the video replaced by us.
It would just be nicer to have a more…“accurate” trailer with decently represented ships and mechanics.
If enough people would be interested I will set something up. If not I guess that this was just another one of my random ideas. Xp
On high it will be under 60 FPS for me possibly. On mediym I can get 60 FPS no problem though.
If we get enough people interested, can you produce a clear “script” please, with exactly how you want it done? Which ships, maps, actions, types of weapons etc? Just to make it clear what we are doing. Also can we decide a time to meet? Probably a Sunday straight after the second GS tourney would be best? That is when most people are online

Until I get enough people I’m not putting any more effort than I need to in to this. Though I can tell you that “if it happened in the video it will happen in ours.”
I kinda like the lazy idea. Steal their video and use English audio. Though it would still be awesome to recreate some of the scenes. I’d bet us English (and other non-Russian) folk could make it better!

If we have dedicated editors and contributors we can beat the crap out of the Russian video made and gaijin’s first video. Also if you want to do something all contributors will be proud of we can’t go the lazy way.
If I was to suggest anything:
Lay out your plan for the video on the forums what you want to see, then the community can inject the best way for those scenes to come to life. (ie: which map, how many ships, which ships, paint jobs, etc)
