Ok so this is what I have as a controller for my PC
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/xbox-360-wireless-controller-for-windows
It is setup with the usb wireless module and wireless controller. It came in a pack together. I have it working on my pc, working in Star Citizen, but I cannot get it to even remotely register on this game. I cannot set key bindings with it, nothing. Does anybody have any suggestions or a walk through?
Also I did a forum search, manually searched and also saw this as a decent spot in the forum to ask since it is not a bug so excuse me if I missed it I know it’s been asked a million times probably.
Thank you,
Rkc.
I don’t think this game has controller support my man, what kind of controller is it? I have a ps3 controller I use to play some games when I am feeling lazing (not this one). I use the MotionJoy Gamepad tool to set up controls (this way it emulates keyboard / mouse controls) so the game doesn’t need to actually support controllers. here is a link; http://www.motioninjoy.com/download works for all controllers not just PS3 ones.
Another thing you might want to look into is the games key bindings xml located: C:\Users[userName]\Documents\My Games\StarConflict user_bindings.xml for example <bind name=“Name of action” key=“Key to use” />
To get the controller to work you would need to get it recognized a keyboard, and have the joystick mapped to a cursor controller of some sort. It might work for T1, theoretical in T2, but any higher and the keyboard/mouse combo becomes supreme.
