I was hoping someone might be able to help me. On both of Gaijin’s games, the launcher comes up as “Network Limited”. I am on downtime at work, on their connection, which I have listed to my computer as a private network (thus the problem of “public” network connectivity is out). While the game successfully launches, and I can modify my craft/plane, buy weapons, etc., whenever I try to connect to a game, it says “connecting” and then always gives me a “lost connection to server” message, at which time it delivers me back to my hangar screen. Can anyone assist? thanks!
Did you check your firewall/router/antivirus? It seems one of those is causing the issue.
You’d have to know which port the game uses for the Matchmaking function. My guess is the lobby uses http and another port is used for matchmaking since you can establish a connection to get into the hangar just not an actual game.
I doubt his router is doing anything faulty…most people don’t know how to set port permissions/forwarding on a router so that’s probably not the issue.
I’m going to put my money on your workplace has the port required for matchmaking disabled for all computers on their network. I used to do this all the time at work…I leave the http port open so you can still browse the internet but other ports that are commonly used by games/torrents I would disable.
I have a similar problem but the difference is this: after activating wireless card game loses all power link from the “rate” 65Mbps drops to 1 or 0 equipment is configured properly. no other application does not cause such a problem.
