Levelling modules

Levelling modules takes a hell of a long time now, and on top of that costs a huge amount of credits. As someone who already has most of the mods he needs upgraded, I notice it less., but every now and then I need to upgrade a new module and it takes forever. Also I’m using a LOT more credits than before. This must be even worse for newer players.

Please reduce the loyalty point grind on this to a similar level as before, and remove or reduce the credit cost. A new sink in the economy for credits may have been necessary, but this was not the right solution.

Disclaimer: I know this sounds like I’m complaining about how grindy the game is, but I’m not. I’m just comparing the speed of upgrade of modules to how it was before the change. Thanks for understanding this and not telling me to “git gud” like seems to be posted on every single thread I start on this forum.

But leveling is fun!!! Thats why WoW is so popular. More levels, more fun!

Agreed. I’ve been “researching” the same module for the past two weeks now.

The thing about research is that once someone completes it, it’s usually available to everyone. This isn’t research, it’s an annoyance.

They don’t take that much time at all. It takes 10-20 fights to go directly from mk1 to mk3 by doing the daily + research.

And the credit price is the same as what it used to be, but instead of being only on mk2 it’s separated over mk1, mk2 and mk3. And the credit income got a huge boost too.

Only weapons and destroyer stuff, specific modules that is, rarely cost 30k more vouchers than before (300k from mk1 to mk4), everything else is less than it was before and with the tasks u can get at least 45k each day of that specific voucher u need, they can be easy or hard to achieve, depends on the mission. So it takes me like 3-6 days/tasks for a t5 module to max out. Idk if thats too much to wait tho, for me its okay i guess.

It’s worse than it was before, because before I could always complete all daily contracts, now  only get 1 shi**y contract.

To be honest, they should make it so, that if you equip the item with research, that you should get additional 50% research boost.

So, no, it’s not better, it’s worse and it costs a lot as well. 40k GS for one Rank 15 T5 module from Mark 2-4, not to mention credits.

They will probably implement more tasks, they cant possibly leave it as it is. So far it’s okay for me but the 200 task is always a nightmare and 10 wins follows it.

+1 for this and also a popup when upgrading another module that warns you that you are about to use vouchers that are being used for the research ; I made that mistake once but now I pay attention but human error is inevitable.

I liked the old contracts where you could just play battles and get small amounts of vouchers regardless of rank or the contract. Having more contracts is always better than fewer. Especially with the insane requirements of the single large ones.

I like this new version better. The older took way longer to grind.

If you do it right, you can level up your modules in just 30 minutes, by using the daily awards.

What is iridium even used for now on a personal level? I can’t find anything to upgrade it with.

I spent 10k iridium on lucky containers to see what I could get. That was a bad idea.

I’ve got 850 of those dudes sitting in my storage. I’ve stopped stock piling them and gone for the credits instead since there is nothing to use iridium for.

It may just be me but I’m saving them for JIC. It seems to me a waste to only use iridium for corp stuff or the bundle so there should be another use for it in the near future. This is only a guess.

Save up on iridium i bet it will be somewhere in a neo/beri/ele mode really soon.

That’s what I’m thinking. Something tells me that the Dec 20 update will require a lot of iridium to take advantage of the new content.

Let’s hope not. I honestly thought they were phasing out Iridium. The only use now is dread upgrades and those pointless industrial containers.

Alright. I’ll go back to saving up more iridium. ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”)

The amount of given iridium is way low compared to credits, but this is probably because it is intended to keep low iridium stockpile of players . It is up to you. Do you need credits? Credits are easy to get.

Iridium will most likely become number 1 resource in the game!

Just save up on iridium, try to have fun on the way also lol
