So a couple of days ago I had a captain match , where right from the beginning it shows up that my team goes not very offensively.

 

I was sitting in my BlackBoomber cause i wanted to try to get the enemy cap, but straightly flight back as i saw  that an empire fighter keeps on punishing at my cap , and the team did hard on trying to get him down.

 

So , without looking , i swapt to secondary missle pot , Kraken as i thought ,and pulled the trigger … nothing happens ! No erruption of light , no sound of 5 chasing rockets ,NOTHING.

 

In the next sec i looked at my pots and realized that ive not loaded Krakens ,nonono , but a little Nuke. And that pot was now empty !

 

My team succesfully finished that empire fighter , even without my “Kraken” , the Cap was slowly regenerating and things starts to calm around him., while i hit on my keyboard the words “xxxx , WATCH” , senseless words i know , but i had to write something as a warning as a … i dunno.

 

I wrote it in squad-chat …

 

The next image that burns into my eyes and is now chasing my dreams , is a nuke explosion that devours my captain .

 

Needless to say that this was the end of the match.

 

So right there i was totally shocked , but as i write these words i laugh all the way these words go down.

 

Im really sry for the Cap i hit with that epic “Nuke of Failure” .

 

 

 

What ive learned from that mistake ? Before every match i look up my loads now xD

The most silly way how i’v been killed as a captain was when I were attacked by several enemies, we succesfullly killed them, an i was left with 15% hull, then friendly fighter struck me and I died. Words could not express my frustration at that moment.

Oh boy, i know how you feel . This is happening to me at least one time a gamesession.

Im a beacon hugger , not cause i love them , but they give good cover . But there are drones who circle around them … guess what happens when i have only around 15% hull left OR , and that’s more hilarious , im FULL on hull and the drones want to see the inner of my ship. * Plong>Push>Plong>Push>etc. * = BOOOOM * drone flying grinning through the pieces of whats left from me * xD

I love it when captain or just any enemy tries to run away and crash into random object, usually asteroid. You know, those massive rocks that are so easy to miss.

 

I also had xxxx moment as team’s captain once. T1 before tier mixing - no hp regen by auras. So, enemy captain is dead, I killed my attackers, maybe 15-20% hp left. Hey, let’s go a little closer to give my team a hull buff and help finish off the enemy. I turned my ship towards them, launched afterburners and… BOOM. There was some interceptor or fighter wreck floating there, barely visible. Probably former ship of one of my attackers. Oh well, I guess they actually succeeded somewhat in killing me. ^^
