the launcher does not complete loading it seems, gets to ~99% but will not light the ‘play’ button nor can I do a ‘repair’. I have downloaded latest launcher, twice and still the same problem.
IT did work ok a few hours ago

Wasn’t there a pop up window to allow the game making changes? I had to do that after the launcher got to 99%.

there was no process ‘launcher’ in task manager until i reran it then it made no difference when i killed it and reran launcher
I uninstalled the game via ‘programs’
I have gone to SC site and tried to ‘download game’
When i click on the downloaded launcher i get the popup ‘open file security warning’ so i click ‘run’
Then an error message, ‘windows cannot access the specified device…appropriate permissions to access…’
So I can’t run the installer. also ran as admin and still wont run
btw for the bug report section I do not have ‘users/documents/games’ so i can’t add any files, there is my documents but it does not contain ‘games’

I have also tried downloading the game with an alternate login email etc and get the same problem that i cannot open the launcher ’ cant access… permissions ’ etc including when opening as admin
If you have a steam account, you might also try to download the game via steam.
That sound like a malware… when window run into permission problem and the problem persist when running thing ‘‘as an administrator’’ most of the time it’s some kind of malware that change window user permission.
However, your anti-virus (if any) could also be responsible of your problem, this article could be usefull if your anti-virus tagged the launcher.exe as a potential threat.
