As some may remember, jump gates in open space would very rarely send you to the wrong sector, or to an alien sector. I really would like to see this feature return. Being randomly sent to alien sectors with massive ore deposits and enemies that drop iridium and other unique things would be epic. It would have to happen randomly and very rarely to make sure that only players who PLAYED THE GAME would be able to make use of them. Otherwise it seems like it would be extremely easy to add again.
