Is someone else have massive lags?

I got random lags lately (about 1.40c) it freezes to 5-10 secs and I can’t do anything my ship just spinning around then it’s moves a little and freezes again.
Sometimes I got back to hangar with network error then reconnect to the battle and then it’s fine.
Some maps are constantly have this problem to me (Alpha-7 Complex, Monolith Remains) some are randomly have this but some are fine.
Anyone else got this problem or just my computer has issues?

Maybe you’re just guetting more often on SEA or Russian server than you were before. And so having high packet loss. But OS does have a problem since before December. By that i mean, transports jumping back killometers, without packet loss, lag spike or fps drop. Is one of the thing i saw/experienced. I dont think i got more unusual lags than i was having before. Once in a while, but that’s normal.

pc problem, could be not enough ram, overheating processor, old or incompatibile graphics card. They have recently changed the “requirements” from 1.5 to 2 GB of RAM, same thing is happening to me, I run on 4 GB RAM with 1 GB Graphics dedicated setup. Maps like monolith remains, abandoned complex and alpha 7 have a lot of unneeded detailing causing loading delaying.

I run 50 fps hangar, 45-60 fps battle, but have the same issues, sometimes the client freezes, If fortunate, unfreezes, if not, then crashes.

No the problem is different.

Since one patch I have issue with the connection too.

Randomly in the fight, I have a few seconds of 2k ping 15-50% packet loss.

Which obviously makes things a bit harder.

Looks like they have an issue with the servers.

I have also problems with the connections since one or two patches. Without warning i get a DC and sometimes i can´t rejoin. Also it´s not a problem from my side since everything else works fine so i think they have some problems with their servers or so.

If you get disconnected then you DO have problem with their servers.

Well, of course, but as i said nothing else had problems so i don´t think the problem is on my side… And i hear and see a lot of people having this problem.

That’s a bug currently where the model of the cargo ship will continue moving when the escort ships are aggro’d. If you shoot where the cargo ship should have stopped then the model will come flying back and continue moving forward until it’s shot again or the escort ships return.

And no I can’t be bothered to make a bug report.

Thanks guys I’ll try to play with settings and see what happen.

Settings have nothing to do with server problems.

Yeah I know, I just want to make sure it’s the servers not my comp, if the issue is still be there when I change the settings then it’s not on my side.

Happens to cargo coming in Sation sectors. No aggro required, but i do not doubt that it can happens in a situation like you described.

I case you dont know, you can press f11, when in battle or OS, it will show which server you are on, fps and ping(and camera angles, kinda useless). You can press it up to 3 times, the more you press the more info you get. I’m saying that, because you can choose a,  prefered,  server. It does not lock it to what you picked.

I know pressing f11 is shows stuff but it’s not helping, before I rarely got any lag, and if I pick other than any region I’ll wait my life to get in to a battle.
After getting back from graphic settings it seems it’s works fine now, but today I only get one problematic map only, so I can’t tell for sure now.

Yes and after update sever isn’t holding online…

yes saying U.S. MidWest Region Server Status: Off line…

you mean this kind of lag?

Its server issue. based on the ping the server was EU. It happened several times for me yesterday.

I’m pretty sure it’s not what he is talking about.

There’s another server bug which makes you have an extremely horrible ping (because 50-70% network error) for a few seconds. I faced it quite a few time. But I had no problem for about a week now.

Nope. It was total freeze for more than 5-10 sec and my ship stayed in one place.
Today I had this lag several times tho, it starts usually before the end of a battle if it takes to much time.
But it’s obvious that this is a server issue. I don’t have the freezing one since I lowered the graphical settings.

Graphical settings shouldn’t have any impact on server sided problems.
