Hey all,
Question - I am finding I particularly enjoy Guard ships, and so I wanted to make that my focus. If I want the most epic Rank 15 Guard ship, I’d have to get the Jericho one.
However, I’m not a big fan of the Jericho style. Instead, I much prefer the Guard ship the Federation flies (the T-Rex). Trouble is, it’s only Rank 14.
So my question is, would I be severely hamstrung using the Federation’s Guard ship, or should I stick with Jericho?
As a tangent of this question, which tiers are most heavily farmed for credits? I’m assuming this is similar to WoT or War Thunder where you have some ideal farming tiers, and anything higher is more of a credit drain. When keeping this in mind, Jericho also provides Guard ships of the highest rank in each tier compared to the Federation, so again I’m curious if I’d be constantly feeling like I’m lacking potential.
Any insight would be much appreciated, Thanks!
1 rank of difference is nothing. Specially 14 and 15. They are basically the same. And in my opinion, the T-Rex MkII is way better than the Inquisitor-S, so yes, go ahead and take it.
Also, the fact that one role is secondary on a faction, it doesn’t mean that it’s weak, it just has a different gameplay.

Thank you so much for your reply! This is encouraging news, playing a ship that looks cool enhances the experience so much more.
From rank 11 onwards all ships have the same amount of slots so only implants make a difference. The rank 15 implant that you’ll be missing doesn’t make a big difference.
And Invasion space for all your credit farming needs, it eclipses all other options. Otherwise PVE with a license.
Fixed.
It needed to be done.
Don’t make it public, I only see Inquisitors on PvP games, I want it to stay like that. :006j:

Feel free to ask more questions about ships. :012j:

Well, this question depends on a lot of factors.
If you’re doing PvE, fly the highest tier ship you’ve got.
If you’re doing PvP, tier 3 (ideally with a Premium) is probably the best source of credits due to the lower queue times. You earn more credits in T4 / T5, but you also have higher reload and repair costs, plus the queue will be longer.
Might be worth noting that T4 and T5 get thrown into the same matches atm, so the only reasonable way to progress past T4 is PVE anyway.
I choose ship lines based on the bonuses that they receive.
IE: light bringer receives 30% kenetic projectile speed & spread reduction.
With that said and the rest of the great advice, chances are if you really like guard you will likely level both lines.
Be sure to try all the ship types!
You meant to say Piranha B2?

Either that or he’ll be one sad gunship pilot when he figures it out. xD

i was first one in game to use this and adaptive all mk4,
so i bet it has something to do with the evolution of adaptive shield abuse and huge energy heal. all mk4 since 2013.
and from there on i got my reputation.
