Shuuush… Don’t give ideas. Besides, it is not that bad thing having fewer types of ship parts dropping in the same rank, right? I don’t know why but I have a feeling this limited ship perk wasn’t long planned and it’s just a new thing in the making. Maybe that is also why there were delays in September.
We’ll get a drop rate boost then? Cause since the ship is out I get 2 part so far…

Personally, I’d say that it makes a bit more sense for them to do this for something like the Nightingale, than for the new destroyers. The Nightingale when you think of it is in a class of ship we already have at the full range of ranks, or at least pretty close to it, which I’d imagine includes at least one at the same rank as that ship, making it just something of a special alternate version of what we already have. The R14 destroyers will although be the only tier five destroyers for the foreseeable future. I don’t like the idea of them doing it with either though.

Even if I love my r11 destroyer I need an R14 if I want to do contracts. That stupid.

IIRC there was mentioning of deployment of a destroyer with additional ship every month. Also “this whole thing” is going on for years now. Basically every year we have an event that gives something as a reward for people that are fulfilling this event, then the item(s) is unavailable to the rest of players for some time and then it comes back few months later. What different is this time are those premium ships. However as CF mentioned before - parts earned before will not be removed, so there is a fair chance that those ships will return later somehow, following suit of previous events.
… or they will return as DLC pack, but of course only for a limited time again.
If only that news bit would push finally. There’s information confirming the probability of the devs changing their minds. Or at least going a bit easier on us.

I seriously doubt it. Never premium ship buildable from parts went to DLC pack. Buyable ships - yes.

The Pirate ships are an inverse of this case so I really wouldn’t be surprised.
Also the news thing was supposed to be yesterday but I guess it got delayed.
We’re working on this event, the news will be there as soon as possible ”) We’re looking into it, and also preparing the next ship - Jericho one, which will be released a little bit later after upcoming patch with New Destroyer.

Until recently, “this whole thing” has been a rarity, and just for things that like the Nightingale, were more like alternate versions of what we already had. Now pretty much everything they’re putting out get made unavailable for an undisclosed period of time if you missed the event, couldn’t complete it, or didn’t spend enough in the cash shop (that’s also new, as before such things were only through in-game events, the cash shop wasn’t involved), and they are even starting to do it for things like the destroyers, which aren’t just alternate versions of stuff we already have. Look at the rank 8, and 11 destroyers, did those get shuffled away after their release events, no. Same with the rank 15 ships we can make from materials, and most other premium ships. Don’t make it sound like every new thing they’ve put out for years now has been handled in the same way as seems to be the case now, because they haven’t, and it’s getting to be a bit much, which is why various people are complaining about it.
