Oh. It looks like this new strategy worked. Well, I can’t say I’m not sad about it since this ship was my next target to grind for. Right now, however, I can’t even think of it because there are so many other things to complete. Maybe some other time.

Okay, I can understand Sirius being suspended… but Nightingale too? Wasn’t expecting this one, but at the least it removes another premium ship’s parts from the loot pool.
also it’s says: Complete missions ‘Star Marathon. Nightingale’ from Arthur Gage. This will help you build the Federation interceptor Nightingale before its production is suspended!
So I can get like 40 parts per day?

Exactly. With this kind of awful “feature” we should need half the parts or get four times the drops.

But what for? Will Nightingale come back later or it will just stay as a not completed forever?

I still don’t get why we are grinding for rank 8 ships when the game has 15+1 ranks.

If this will become a new practice, it’s going to be really awful.
You want to grind, then it got removed, you have to focus on something else - if you even can do - to wait for it to come back - if at all! - just to see you aren’t on in the timeframe it’s coming back before it’s again removed…
This is the kind of thing that makes me regret ever throwing money at this game

Let’s summarize what we have: Nightingale will be gone from the ship tree in 14 days, will it return? - is unknown. There’s still time to get some additional parts for it. Collected parts will be kept in store, and probably will get a good use in the future anyway. But the most probably, that tomorrow we will bring some more detailed news to this discussion.
An answer for you daz: Because T5 is not everyone’s beloved playground. The pace in T4+ PvE is for example slowing down.
Other times you want to try out things, but don’t want that other have a to big disadvantage of this(new build/strategy).
And other just like specific lower ranked ships.
So not everytime ‘endgame’ is the goal or the ‘best’.

By tomorrow you mean tonight, right?
alot of people are not happy with this new practice. I hear it from my wingmen in ts all the time. This new “way” is not being received well by actual players and as already stated by others, new players will likely also not accept it well. All the content should be achievable for all players, regardless when they decided to start playing.
