This half-way-tin-foil-hattery has made me fear the next patch even more than I already was…
I guess I’ll prepare my mind to go off this game again…

New faction hangar looks nice.
This is it. Grab you Wife, Grab yo ships, grab yo sweet rolls, cause the end is NIGH!
In all seriousness, a sweet roll dice under the rear view mirror is a great idea…
I prefer to bury my sweet rolls in my backyard and my mattress just in case all goes awry.
The only two things that really worry me about this next patch are the prospect of being forced to grind synergy to full to buy new ships and the restriction of weapons to specific ship types.
This INN report suggests that pilots already in possession of ships don’t need to re-grind synergy, however, since I have yet to earn enough credits to buy a T4 frigate, I am dreading the additional grind coming my way.
While I don’t tend to mount heavy weapons on Interceptors or Fighters, I know pilots who do. If weapons begin to be restricted, there will be a huge outcry. Also, I would be very disappointed if frigates were limited to heavy weapons only to limit their weapon mobility.
Please don’t kill this game.
Its like this, this could be the patch that kills everything, everyone, and everybody,
Well see. Im gonna have to make a Corp Meeting on this…

Until more details are known, we can only speculate. I’m not sure the apocalypse is quite near yet, though.
That said, hell has no sweet rolls and we all know where you are heading once the time comes. ;)wt

This is a common and wide misconception, they are there, in fact, the whole space occupied by hell is made of them, but you can not have them :)))

Good sir, I stand corrected and submit to your wisdom.
An infinite sea of sweet rolls which one cannot consume does sound significantly more hellish.
YOu need yo look at it in complex and seek deeper
The only thing i am afraid off, that hopefully devs/testing team did not overlook the prem ships interactions with that new progress with ships process.
For example i have T3 prem ships that i bought while playing T2 to cover certain roles inT3, moved into T3 flying these prem ships, at this moment what would separate me from T4 is just an amount of money required to buy ships of ranks 7,8,9 to skip through t3 and buy rank 10, if there will be a requirement to fly ships to the certain level (limited by time or synergy or w/e mechanic is going to be) that process will eliminate any desire in byung Prem ships because flying them will stop your progress in tracks and even if you have them you are still have to fly your newly bought ships in order to access higher tire.
I remember the statement that prem ships are there for those that want to cut farming times and access relatively competitive level of tier quickly, unfortunately in this hypothetical situation as soon as player want to move to T4 player has to either abandon his prem ships and spend all his time that he supposedly wanted to save in “free” ships or he has to buy T4 prem ships because he has no time.
I really hope this scenario doesn’t occur
I think they are just going to introduce a “pirate” nation.
Probably 1 more special ability for fighters and interceptors, as we have total of 4 for frigates.
Or I am putting my hopes up ?
I for one, want balance issues and game tweaks FIRST, then new content. If the game is stale NOW, how will adding new content help? Its like adding a Turbo to your POS honda…

because any radically new content brings a disbalance to any PvP game, i would prefer as much as possible mechanics/content to be dumped into the game and then sorted out and polished than having w/e percentage of the game balanced and polished to the perfection and then having second half of the game upon introduction ruining it all.
sorry i was unable to get IIN out this week as kopets beat me to it. I have done the last 4 week but not many people read it or looked at it. if you want the English version done by me again just let me know and i will continue to get it out but by the looks of things kopets version is getting a lot more interest than when i did it. and for me it is about getting the English community active so if his version will do that better than mine would prefer that kopets continue his work.
its not that his version is making English people active, its just it is a big patch coming in, what you shall do Tealc, you shall translate those references to weapon description posted by some one on Russian INN, that will make people talk, hopefully

This thread is so active because there are a lot of changes coming that, if implemented wrongly, makes the game as bad as the ship tree.
The activity is due to the fact this IIN hinted at game-breaking alterations that could kill the game dead. That sort of thing gets people’s attention.
Stuff it, buying my T3 ship now. If this does end up the way i think it will, im wanting it now.
