Infinite respawn system

The Infinite respawn system is designed to reduce the “asteroid camping”. Now there is no reason to fear for the safety of your ship, you can rush into the fight and get some enemies blown up.

We hope that the game will bring more dogfights in which all pilots can compete against each other, face to face.

We believe that the system of infinite respawn will be able to reduce pilots “fears to fight higher skilled pilots”. After all, there is a chance to get back into the fight and to avenge the abuser.

We are sure that many players will like the new mechanics, because now you can choose your ship by the current situation on the battlefield.

We expect that experimentation with different combinations of modules and weapons will become more convenient. After all, if you quickly killed the new configuration, it does not mean it is bad. Now is the time to find your ship configuration.

P.S. The so-called “wave respawn” was removed. Now the cooldown before entering into combat depends only on the ship class on which you got knocked down. Interceptors have the smallest.

As a Ace and newbie (:stuck_out_tongue: without time to play it, but i try ) I find it a good idea, it can prevent the spamming of frigates for example.

Just I would add an idea and forgive if it isn’t a good one ^^

The closer is a team to loose the game, (for example you are going to lose your last beacon) you get a higher bonus to reduce the time respawn. No more than 10 seconds reduction for example, should be balanced that.

I know it depends on the last ship you were knocked down, but Imagine that all players of one team were knocked down and with the normal time respawn (without any reduction time as I suggest) there is no time to return to fight to at least to defend your last beacon. If I going to lose, at least I want to be in the battle zone :).

My idea, again sorry for any trouble it can cause and nice game by the way ^^

Simply the gameplay is great with loot of action and no more camping behind asteroids fights lool :slight_smile: And this is something we should not change anymore…I mean devs can do a lot of experiments but the purpose should always be to reach this kind of gameplay :slight_smile:

Otehrwise after a bit more playng i can say that i don’t like the concept of infinite respawn really but it really pushed the gameplay in the right direction but i feel a bit of strategy lack now.

So questio should be how can we delete the new infinite respawn system but at the same time save this gameplay…?

I don’t know but hope it will be possible coz this will make game perfect, a perfect mix between gameplay and strategy. Hope you guys have some ideas about that, If i’ll find any i’ll be back to post it in this thread

The meta has shifted to a more action based version but the respawn time is sometimes annoying. Domination is now very interresting and a lot of fighting is out there but Capute the beacons is more a carnage than strategy. I also miss the worth of surviving in this mode.

Now weapons should really get some tunings.

really i mean i really like the direction the game took with last patch but also like so much the 3 ships system wich is very original and choosing the right ships is also a big part of the lvlling up startegy (connecte with skill tree). I liked so much the fact u needed to choos very well the order of picking up the different ships in battle and now all this stuff is devaluated…Hope they find a way to save actual gameplay and old 3 ships system lol

Well at the moment it is hard to save the gameplay with the old mechanics. Because if the limited respawn gets back, players will start camping again and we will have less dogfights.

Just ot let you know without writing it again. Also Gentaei posted right under me and compressed my overgrown post to its main ideas and (hopefully) made it more clear.

You may also consider dividing battle into separate modes - one with infinite respawn, other without it.

It’s not wasted, the other ideas are still possible to be added. As you can see we are getting a new game mode each 2-3 month and perhas there will be a need for a selection between game modes.

And the respawn time is also still not finished, there are still a few issues that need to be corrected.

Ekhm, i think you took it bit too serious Error. Im not telling that you ignore feedback. I was just surprised that some ideas i tried to suggest were already ready and planned to implement. And i’ve gone bit sarcastic about it (too much maybe).

Anyway i apreciate that you care about this game, unlike Wargaming. I hope that both Star Conflict and War Thunder will kick Wargaming down from the bench. Just dont forget to advertise this games a bit more - there is plenty of people willing to play this kind of games and very disappointed/bored with Wargaming productions. They just don’t know about you.

And what if once you die 2 times on the same ship you can’t use it anymore?

It would be like having 6 ships. Better than infinite respawning and a very simple idea :slight_smile:

I think in this way we should be able to save the gameplay lol, and more than this we’ll bring back

some strategy again in selecting ship and not being a total kamikaze. In this way the fourth slot will have

valuable again. It could be nice putting a skull icon on the ship icon in the selecting screen during battles.

2 skull icons on the same ship simply means you got can’t use it anymore and you got to switch to another one.

This something devs should try. I’m pretty sure it will work great :slight_smile:

I think the different queues will work fine for the moment. Because if you limit the respawn in some way, the camping will start again sooner or later and the players with 4 ships will have a big advantage again.

Different queues are perfect, if we want infinite respawn, we have it, and if we want only 1 spawn per ship, we have it too.
