I don't like the direction of this game

Imperial engineers are fun too. A Styx can attract aggro while your team does the damage dealing. It’s fun having multiple enemies hammer away at your hull while you somehow stay vertical, and watch them explode one by one around you.

:yes_yes:

10% hull strength left? It’s an utter lie. That 10% will last very long.

That face of phobos pilot when at full afterburn anaconda pilot passes by at highier speed…

I have actually been overtaken by a Frigate whilst flying my Kris-AE! It’s friggin ridiculous!! When I saw that, my reaction was: “… Well, xxxx this.”

To be honest, I haven’t noticed anything.

Lets talk about T3+.

Direct Nerfs: Crit. Chance decreased for IR and Ammo. Crit. Dmg. reduced by TTCPU.

Indirect Nerfs: Less Heals, Projectile Speed increased, Armadillo Nerf, Gauss Buff (was needed tho).

In all, Ceptors suffer more than all other classes from the recent patch.

You know well that the crit chance decrease was needed, because there were some crit builds really powerful. And that nerf is for all ships, not only interceptors.

My Gunships had a base 40%-ish crit chance. I don’t need to say what happened whenever I toggled Weapons Overdrive AND Overdrive at the same time.

How much has the crit rate fallen by? I’m assuming it’s still not enough to make the R1 Jeri implant more attractive than Armadillo.

And off-topic…

I just realized this: why the heck is this man playing a trap card from his hand?

I’m sitting at close to… wait. WHAT! I have MORE crit, now. I have… 37% with the Singularities and 48% with Assault Rails. On the D-Eagle.

On the Nukem, it’s a bit lower, obviously, but still… I don’t think the nerfs are working as expected… xD

Yet, the pretty much only way to do significant dmg. with ceptors is the glass-cannon-crit-builds.

An its terrible to see, how frigballs yet creep in in SecCon, especially since the soft-nerf on bubbles (friendly fire).

If there isnt done any further balancing in this regards, i promise you, that frig-conflict will be in full force in about 2 Weeks.

Ceptors havent really bein nerfed, they have been adjusted, it is just that they are not invincible anymore, just like the guard nerf some time ago, that made it become killable.

I must say that im enjoying this new less-ceptor conflict, before it was all recons everywhere.

But im starting to see 10x more torpedoers anoying the battlefield, and also, styxballs. But Styxballs are there ever since guardballs became fruitless.

Ive been taking t3 ecm up against t4/5. Honestly its working pretty well in nasa squads, i lock down the target they take it out. This to me indicates that at max rank ecm is still viable.

ECM in a squad never stopped being viable.

That’s subjective. What makes you say interceptors were invincible? Did you ever fly one and feel invincible yourself?

Most interceptor pilots aren’t hard to kill, let alone impossible-to-kill. Very very few are what i’d call “very hard to kill”

Then you run into Takamina…

Then you run into Takamina…

Exactly my point. Not everyone is like takamina, not even close… like i said very very few fall into that category. And even takamina isn’t invincible

Well, since 80% of the pilots were flying inties, expecially recons, we can say that something was wrong about it, since the community always go with the OP thing of the moment. And simple, i bet if you pull up the death statistics of every kind of ship in the game the ceptors are the least killed by far.

It is more of a Recon problem and not Interceptors in general, Recon is relatively easy to survive for an average Joe, problem arises when some one who can push recon to the limit comes in and start bending enemy team. But all 3 roles got a short end of the stick this time.

Well, now a ceptor isnt fully healed and ready to harass again in 2 seconds, at least now their “refueling” phase got longer, and no more dancing around enemyes with engie around, thats about what hitted them most.
