That game…bulwii of ESB kept getting smashed. And i think darnok of rage is mad at me, he always shot at me even if there was a better target.
Well, detonation is a great place to play LRF, your kills really count, same as recon. In domination and beacon hunt it’s more questionable, for evis and tillo and other good LRF pilots i let gladly, but i personally wouldn’t hop in one.

You fly them like Jericho LRFs but you don’t have to bother with a torpedo and you have much better survivability so you can dedicate your actives to tanking.

Not much else you can do in a ship without utility. Of course you can always join the hordes of snipers, in that case fit thermal resists vs other snipers and all the lrf actives and be useless.

Just use it as heavy gunship with whatever weapon you like(for me positrons are the best), active modules: cloak, shield&hull repair, hull resist or tachyon, cloak, +% dmg from F, hull repair

Is the cloak for when you feel like sniping? I find the pulsar much more useful myself.

in R11+ cloak never ends so no1 can lock on you and most players are focused on targets that are red and they don’t look for cloaked LRF in 1st/2nd line because most of LRFs are too far to care about them

Fair enough if it works for you like that. I move around too much for that plus I tend to encounter micro-locator spamming recons everywhere.
So you need the - cooldown implant? I guess i need to use a slightly different piloting method than you for my lrf. After all, my implants are set up for engies and gunships first, then everything else.
