Today I will show you in a few pictures the difference between good LRF use, and bad LRF use.
This is BAD LRF use.
As you can see, we had 6 LRF spawn camping in the second biggest map of all. A map in where beacons are all covered, and two of them are just outside Desintegrator range from spanw.
Of course, we lost.
Now you will see two battle reports of how you should use LRF, as a Heavy gunship / sniper hybrid.
These two games were played in a row today.
Now that is how you use a LRF ship.
So stop complaining about LRFs being useless, or just for Aces. LRF are fine. People are just bad. Period.

Thread title implies a guide, forum section implies a balance discussion, actual thread content is OP’s e-peen and a good example of what makes many battles so boring, namely players farming kills rather than completing objectives.
Suggest to move/junk this.
Most of the players that just use LRF without thinking and half of the team are LRF won’t read this here. But I’m curious on the how to part…

So my over 9k damage second missile slot is useless? If your LOS is blocked, a torpedo can work.

I prefer to play 12v12 than 3v3 with bots thank you. But I have a chirion with synergy rank 9, all in PvP, so yeah, I got some T5 ships with that also. N00bs are everywhere, from T1 to T5, so It doesn’t matter.
