Horribly Balanced Collision Damage instance - pretty much instant deletion of a destroyer by ramming of a small ship

this is an example of overpowered powercreep in general, I’d call this a bug to be patched out regardless of if it’s intentional or not, it’s just bad.

And that was WITH collision damages being redirected to the shield.

Yeaaah welcome to modern Star Conflict. What you got hit with there was the “Thrasher”. The ship has access to a module that allows it to launch itself at an enemy to ram them.

Although what the game doesn’t tell you in the description of said module is that it also; not only isn’t a warp gate, but just a pull effect, but it also massively increases outgoing collision damage. So if you even so much as brush against a Thrasher before it goes through the gate, you can cop several thousand damage instead of what should be several hundred damage.

Just another one to the “this should never have been implemented” pile.
