I wont get any of the Thar’Ga special abilty nodes. They can put their stupid missions up their behind. It shall stay, crystal hunger.

Exactly! We are just being used for experments by the lizard people. They want to know if humans can go to space to make them pilots for their kamikaze rockets! So better do not be too good skiollz in game or else u get tekken.

I know the best ship lineup for SC

First player takes Thar’Ga, because he can lead by charging in

Second takes Thar’Ga, because he can support the first player, and fall back to the third if needed

Third player needs something that has good regeneration, to tank while other players retreat, so he takes a Thar’Ga as ship.

Fourth player could be a healer, but it is for this setup possible to replace him with a Thar’Ga.

The rest of the players have to do the DPS, so they take Thar’Ga.

It works with any amount of players, and can defeat any type of enemy.

I wonder, what will happen when we get all 10 Ellydium ships.

Probably only 0,0001% will be able to get them all. Surely, I won’t be one among them.

Probably me too. I’m not paying twice for the same ship just for a little module.

Probably only those who do 100% of missions every day will get them all. Which is me. But you know whatever.

People were saying exactly the same thing about craft ships when they were just released and than they realised that they dont have to and dont need to.

Depend on my investment, I may catch them all when released, alien dessie *drools*

yes, i think i am. I can make hive or matter absorber much more easily. Adding the ability to do one of the mission for matter absorber doable with any of the 3 alien guns for the 3 type was a welcomed change too.

Here’s another. It takes only 1 brain cell to figure out that the pvp is broken as fck. Yea i could use my Thar’ga a Vigi over and over. But i got other ships to lvl up and, it wont be in pvp for sure. PvP is just not fun at the moment unless you play DD or Thar’ga or Gargoyle and dart. It has been reported by countless people in countless threads. Made by the community and/or on SC threads. And i can’t beleive that the russian part of the community is agreeing to that broken balance. So we must be many players and veteran players to have shared this.

Is it just too big of a task, or you spread yourselves over dozens of tasks at the same time. Like working on balance, new ships “old factions and aliens”, new OS, new guns and modules, new “roll the dice” crates and so on, all at once?! Yes multi-tasking is good…when you can finish it. Anyway that’s all on the subject. I’ll miss all xenos related to pvp but it doesn’t matter enough. Spec Op will do.

I’m guessing a scatering field, reverse jump, long range positron crit build. And cooldown crew implants. Slowly rweverse jumping or flying, depending size of the map, to ennemy spawn. Mauler has always been a pretty good ship. But balance is still pretty much non-existent. Nice work on this defeat.

Yea, i was about to edit. And add, that i mean it. you did what you had to. 14 kill 9 assits. Balance is affected by alot more than alien ships. They are just the latest addition to the problem.   • dessies can be handled with 2 ships not entire team focusing fire on that vig BS

Overall it’s one of the best MM we had in since release.

Almost no one side battle?!? Well it’s been the contrary for me and everyone on my teams since Thar’ga release. One side 8/10 minimum, win or defeat.( And dont tell me you haven’t experienced those 35-0 survivals/5 kills top) or capture the beacon team almost full 4 sloted ships, the other has 4-5 that has 1 or 2.Which i am often part of :/.Started before that with r14 DD’s, which now are almost underpowered for their size. Well not underpowered but costly to use. Respawn time mainly. While it now die faster than ever before(not counting vigilante and lapse of time where guns were doing extra damage). Almost forcing quick rush or camping. That’s what i saw, others may see it differently.

But balance isn’t only that. Mauler with insane crit and superior RoF due to being an LRF, was and still is “unbalanced”  can 2hit any fighters beside commands cuz of extra shield/hull. Gargoyle RoF paired with its module. Randomly buging Dart front shield, that permanently stay on. Vigi being the tankiest and also has the longest range and probably the biggest close range dps too. You can see the patern. Most old ships are balanced. Hundreds of ships are. But there are those exceptions that totally break the experience of PvP battles.

And most probably the easier way to remedy to this, would be to tweak mm to make even teams, ship-wise. No more 5 Thar’Ga vs 0 in other team slots. And do the same for every types and classes. That way an unbalanced ship kinda get balanced by the other team having the ability to conter it without ignoring it while he wreck the team nor focusing him while its/our team wreck them/us.

Frigballs are still there, rotation inties too. Just not their 360’s on a dime, same for all the good old tactics.

I agree about Squads.

Aces in Thar’Ga wreck, but true, there are those mega newbs or really young childrens that dont xD and the peeps with an almost full mk1-2 setup.

It’s not that big of a limitation for the mm, to pick someone with an engineer instead of a gunship. Just have to be sloted.

even a nab in a tharga is at least not a nab in a ship which is really hard to fly

acting like the tharga needs uber l33t skillz i cant agree upon. yes people fail terribly with them, okay. but still, once it clicks, they get enough lucky shots. and in any other ship, they would have even less of an impact on the match, while the tharga killing sprees are going on.

but it is just a combination of lately added game mechanics, that seem a bit out of proportion if you combine them aswell. still. that hasnt changed much to be honest in case of the tharga, imho, or not enough yet. I see a lot of things in the tharga, which would be interesting mechanics, but i would also cookie cut into that max-regen-max-speed-one-shot-damage thing. So I kinda even find it sad, as that ship has a lot of abilities, almost no one uses.

i do feel they should continue to look deeper into this, and maybe a bit more communicate that aswell. something like, i dunno… maybe no implant effects for alien ships, see how it fares then. but cmon, this isnt balanced, and its not just the skill of some uber warriors which make that ship such a thing. luckily, a lot of people already HAVE the tharga, so games are somewhat interesting again - but still, the ridiculous damage proportions (which the LRFs actually would deserve to keep) between thargas and  some other ship and the rest, happening in high tier games, creates imho an understandably frustrating experience.

it really depends on the time of the day, and the current players. I agree some of the games currently are really great. Others, are simply frustrating. Sometimes even both at the same time - that is just weird. Or maybe, that comes because I can still fight back and enjoy that, even if the overall matches are bonkers after bonkers for hours.
