I’ve being playing SC for almost a year now and decided to join the forum. After some hickups and the help of the support I finally am able to post woohoo I took a break from SC for a while because I thought I can’t get any further flying solo and I didn’t want to join a corp for time issues. Long story short, after some disappointments in Eve, Elite, X and Star Point I decided to come back to SC because it offers simply put the most awesome space fighting of all games I know and I’m having much fun right now.
I reached Rank 11/12 with the three inties I like to fly the most, Eagle-M, Nodachi and my recent discovered and beloved Swift Eagle plus the Grizzly and I am now pushing along the Guard- and Tackler-line in T3 towards T4. Although I can’t say which Inty I prefere - I have good and bad games in all of them - it’s becoming obvious to me that I am more at home in a fast ship, I feel kinda helpless in Guards, Tacklers or Engies (the latter is mainly used for PvE where it shines the most) and I really suck in Longrange Frigates…

Well there’s only one thing that truly bothers me: why do I have to pay in GS to transfer Synergy from one ship to another? I mean I understand that you need to make money in a F2P game somehow, but I’ve bought all the DLCs already which have cost me around 300€. But the ships from the DLC are next to useless, they generate Synergy I cannot use on “normal” ships without paying more, that’s a major flaw in the concept and I find it simply not to be fair, I gave you already enough money to play the game for two years when compared to an “ordinary” monthly MMO subscription fee. What I wished for is that someone who has bought DLCs for lets say 100 or 200€ can transfer synergy for free for ever, there are other incentives to make people buy GS or the DLCs, and it would show some appreciation on your side towards the players who dedicated a considerable sum of money already. This is true for all ships btw, once I’ve maxed a ship to full synergy it becomes uselss for me because I cannot use the synergy to level other ships without paying more.

Other than that I really love SC, it’s the first game ever I am deep into PvP, I am usually a PvE gamer. It’s quite well balanced, has stunning graphics, it’s not too grindy for an F2P and as I said in the intro, by far the best and most fluid fighting experience I’ve ever seen in a space game. I wished more players would play it so waiting times wouldn’t be so long, especially in T4 after 11pm. I’m looking forward to the next updates and thank you for still bringing new content on a regular basis
