it slows down teammates as you hit them in regular pvp.
no damage, just slows us down aswell. is annoying if someone is just trying to make team loose and starts slowing down teammates that is in close combat.
I thought all the christmas weapons are kinda dumb to be honest…but they are deadly if its well coordinated.
if you think a teammember is behaving in an unfair way, please report him
In case at Capture the Beacon every weapon damages team members.
The slow in other PvPs is a side effect, which we are going to review

also, why does gravi beamer slow you down to 1/4 of ur maximum speed. it puts me to 84 speed when my total is 207 with afterburners, and then im dead.

Just be glad they nerfed it! I remember going 80m/s in a Sai which has a normal speed of 475m/s.

The devs are aware of it, but who knows if they will change it or let it stay like that. I doubt they let it be like it is now… maybe in Sector Conquest. Wait for the next patch.
Gravi beam slows down teammates in any mode, as well as kinetic supercharger cloud hurts teammates in any mode and eclipse can be used to heal self when its explosion is far enough from you to deal only few damage(heal effect is not affected by distance to explosion center). Winter weapons was doing exactly the same.
