it’s all in the implants, minotaur is nice but a bunch of t1 gunships + ecm would break it I’m sure because cooldowns are too long if they shoot your stations and drones.

In a 1v12 I think the Minotaur would win. Gigas II + a Proton Wall and Jericho r2 implant, then just shot at the enemies and kill them one by one.

Worth a try. Willing to be one of the T1 and hitting you from outside of your tiny sensor range. Maybe you won’t notice me there. :wink:

Yep, I always try to troll for as many target locks as possible. Most OP implant out there, and most people can’t seem to hit without the target prediction reticle so they will always lock you. :wink:

Speaking of that implant… it just dawned on me…  in PVE does any of the spawns lock on you ?    Specially in Blackwood when you may have 8+ blasting away at you.

that implant is still yet to be tested. i didnt really feel any effect of it yet. time to do custom. (

 

aswell as they didnt fix the r14 Federation implant, still 3 seconds.

You can hear the sound of them locking you, but you can’t see that symbol saying you have been locked. So I guess it doesn’t work… could be wrong tho.

with that i can surpass 500 resistance. if that even will work or just break and result as a 0 resistance because of error.

 

hah. 16 v 16 custom, 16 locked on me. 600 resistance + . cant wait. 

I do know the R13 impant work extremely well in PVE… as you can end up with continious PULSAR.  :taunt:

Yeah I feel it would be a little more fair and give the T1 players a fighting chance if it was limited to 2 T5 players max on the GM team and even that is pushing it.     It might make things a bit more interesting if it was only 1 T5 because I highly doubt you’re going to find enough players willing to participate to balance 3-4 GM/T5 players.  

 

 Maybe you could even talk to the higher ups and see if you can give out like 100 GS to the player who gets the kill.    Obviously there would be multiple matches and multiple rewards to be handed out as long as the GM is killed.  Nothing attracts players like shiny stuff!

 

Personally I wouldn’t even bother with a frigate…I’d bring my Viking or a Lightbringer with Ion Emitter.  Massive range advantage or seeing how proj speeds are so low in T1 just dodge everything in an inty.

Going by the amount of hurt my guard can take in Blackwood while tanking the reinforcements I always thought it did work but never bothered to check logs to confirm.

Full purple T5 pulsar hits for 1218 thermal damage every second. Not even close for a one-hit kill.

We know plasma gun’s pretty much out of the question, which hurts interceptors a lot.  ECM’s can stop the T5 from attacking, or at least cancel a pulsar.  Carefully chained plasma arcs could work.  Spy drones would slow heals but ECM can prevent them.  Everyone would need to know to cancel the target lock whenever possible.

 

Commands aren’t going to help enough I think, but a couple tacklers for target painter and gunships would work.

 

My ideal grouping would be covert ops, gunships, and tacklers.  Maybe an ECM or two if the T5 is a guard since ECM’s are supposed to be able to cancel a pulsar now.  Everyone would need to change their settings against auto locking.

 

Two tacklers, four covert ops, and six gunships.  Maybe five gunships and one command.

Just checked mine… 12184 for 12 secs to all enemy ships in 1200m  ( you missed the 4)

 

so that is ONE HIT on just about all ships up to a couple of Level 3s  Hercules Rage and Jericho X and those come mighty close.
