-Boson cannon hitting target from almost across the map with 1k-3k damage per shot, fire rate way too high.
-Dual channel repeater constantly gives gargoyle the high fire rate, dealing even more damage
-Disintegrator modifier makes the sniper fires way too fast
-No scouts placing micro locators these days, making any lrf almost invisible
By having more scouts, you will get that nerf in a teamwork kind of a way. But i do agree it needs to be toned down a bit.

My guess: People dont play “scouts” because their main purpuse not DPS but support and support roles may carry the match but they rewarded poorly. Thats why everyone wants big damage. Blow ships = More Synergy
Like Recons also ECM role having that problem too. Well used special module turns table but they only get little debuff assist reward if they didnt damage or kill.
And that micro locators are really useful if a tackler or covie tries to sneak up on your “afk disintegrator snipers” ( i mean long range frigs  )

What’s the point of doing some recon, when the number of players per fight is limited and the objectives have a fixed position ?
The alien recon is powerful, but it’s definitely is not used as a recon.
This is bad, all ships need a debuf , none of them keep their roles, we need a major nerf of ships in order to keep roles apart, for this we need to cut all multiporpose modules to half

Uncloak ppl, counter guardians, decrease regen abilitys of important target and reveal the general position of the enemy team, wich you wont notice most of the time, but you will notice for sure if you don’t have the sightrange of a recon. (rarely do long range builds have the range to see where they are shooting ”) ) Also tactically seen, recons are diversion, in the sense of taking time to counter or ideally a waste of time to attack, for the enemy team.
The only reason I fly recon, is because the rf blaster is still broken AF and you need 3 heatsinks to get some glory out of it; no cov ops has the ability to deliver DPS consistently with that gun since it occasionally stops shooting. Take a spectre falcon with 2 heatsinks - problem solved, or at least bypassed, since the devs still don’t believe me ( and other humaans)

Cut what in half? their duration? Or talking about general versatility?
I don’t understand, games are bland as it is, in r15, Florin, what kind of meta are you longing for?

Gargoyle doesn’t need a nerf. You barely see it now since the recon oriented broker missions started.
Also, now we have something else to worry about - taikin.

The fun thing with tai kin, is that they can’t be killed.
Even another tai kin, or a Thar Ga can’t kill it.
The only way to kill that thing is to use tackler + ECM + recon altogether
