I just got out of a T5 match with 5 v 5. My Ping hit a 3852 with a 36% Packet Loss. This game is not in Beta anymore game play should be smooth and consistent for all regions. These are all the same issues that got Star Conflict all the negative reviews in the US when it was in Beta.
This is a great game from concept - graphics - story but if you can’t play matches it means nothing. All the game tweaking updates are not helping make this game reach its potential. Player base continues to fall, vet pilots are leaving and playing less, new players are having a bad experience.

And here you have the perfect example of why I don’t play pvp outside of US primetime when a bunch of us get together and force US servers. US servers seem to be the only ones unchanged, as even EU servers are giving me higher ping and lots of packet loss now.
The best part was later Dirk when an admin player told me it was my ISP. Amazing coincidence since there were 4 of us in owl on TS from all over who were all having the same problem, we all just quit playing because it was so ridiculous. Its a shame that everyones ISP is failing. I think the new plan is that you ignore the problem and it will go away.
OMG… seriously, is it even possible to have such high ping? I can’t believe my eyes and that developers blame always only the ISP.
I will contact some friend, who knows these things and he will come here, if need be.
Such things should not be tolerated any longer, especially if it’s on the server side!
It’s not worth to advertise, if you cannot even provide the basic necessities for this game.
To make matters a bit better, I would highly recommend that developers implement some auto-monitoring system, which will activate in such cases, just to record packet loss or something.

Actually there is one more information - 12FPS. 12 FPS suggests you have something wrong with your PC (I have higher FPS on my netbook), if you have dying SSD that’s how it looks like - delayed write on SSD can block the datastream from the network and then you will have such ping and when the buffer will fill up - packet loss. There is perfect tool in the game folder that will actually verify that - traceroute to the game server outside the game will show you where exactly is the problem.
This game has some serious problems with servers, but in this case I would actually start the diagnose from your end.
Form what I’ve seen the US server and RU server need to go down for maintenance. I had lag today only from those two servers, the EU and SA servers were completely stable for me on the other hand.
I’ve had ping peaks of up to 4500 sometimes at night. No idea what causes it but the only thing that’s fliable is engineers with al sorts of drones. Though I don’t do much flying. More like spinning.
And whoever said 3000=30s how do you even.
It’s measured in milliseconds between pings so 3000=3s
If i was actually a better pilot I would have thought it was just a handicap like in golf. It must be an experiment the devs are going to add ping based on number of PVP matches and your rank the better you are the more Ping. IT IS THE ULTIMATE GAME BALANCING TACTIC.
