Why did we not get any advertisement on Steam (front Store page - Featured now) with the release of the major update 1.2?
Hi, Koromac. Actually we do advertisement on Steam (including front page). The last advertising campaign has been launched with the patch release (you could see it during last weekend) and so far it’s results are very good for us (much better than previous).
By the way, I’m very grateful that you personally and some other users from forum participate in the life of our Steam community and help us in the work with steam-players.
Training videos will do us no good, if we will not get more new players.

Of course, it is good for promotion. But I was looking from a different perspective, not related to this video, which is a total current population count.
I agree with your statement in general. It is correct.
Now all you need is a way to link the videos from the game, maybe in the “special” adds at the start of the game, or in a blinking button somewhere in the UI.

I didn’t meant only the posts or simple messages about the updates in Star Conflict game and forum section, but on the Steam front Store page and Recently Updated (Major Product Updates section).
I will show you an example of one such advertisement on Steam’s “Featured Now” front store page:

As you can see, despite your claims above , such thing never occurred to Star Conflict on Steam with the release of the update 1.2.
I am sure of it, since I was checking it and not just me alone, but a few other people on Steam as well.

Phase Shield now gives you 120 pts. for all resistances instead of 150.

If you look at a naked guard in the hangar (no implants / Modifiers), you will see that the guards have differents Base Resistance on its shields.
Instead of 30/-30/0 like Interceptors, other frigates or Gunships, Guards have 0/-60/-30.
It’s a penalty applied on the Guards long time ago.
To explain you, the first iteration of the Phase Shield was “+90 Resistance Pts to the selected Type of Damage” (+25% damage with the proc).
A bit later, and due to balance purpose, the “Phase Shield” changed to “+150 Resistance Pts to the selected Type of Damage” (+25% damage with the proc) and All Shield Resistance reduced by 30 pts.
Now it’s “+120 Resistance Pts to the selected Type of Damage” (+15% damage with the proc) and All Shield Resistance reduced by 30 pts.
Phase Shield now gives you 120 pts. for all resistances instead of 150.

I was expecting to see at least a little mention on JLRF, since torps work a lot different than desintegrator (and you can have close-mid battle tactics combining both main weapons and torps). Besides that and the phase shield stats call from 1,1 patch and before, its a great video, very instructive gj
