This is probably unheard of… but whatever the case may be just answer the questions i will post at the later in the post then you can laugh or whatever.
So like 2 days ago i made some jokes about how Guard Friggates can kill Black OPs Interceptors easy and i think i made some people mad (obviesly i was joking and althow i didnt give any word that i was joking i think it was clear that i was but there are people who dont understand jokes like this so i must remain sceptical) so what happened was yesterday i was playing Guard Friggate in Pve and i started noticing that im dying like almost instantly, kept wondering why so i test my Rank 7 Fighter with 8,647 shield and my Rank 4 Guard Friggate with 16881 shield(i also replaced the module so it has same shield regen reason it has so less shield but the point is it has almost double the shield.Long story short after testing i started realizing im taking 200% if not 250% more dmg on my Guard Friggate… now of course the last dmg tested was EM(Have no clue if its EM but im talking about those blue energy balls some ships throw at you) how did i do this? i tested on transporter ships with same number of ships and same number of fighters and same type of fighters, Theres a few factors here of course the hitbox… fighter hitbox much smaller dunno if those energy balls do same dmg and lag aparently lag has a few take into this , now for the sake of the test i took my rank 4 interceptor witch is same tree with my friggate and it has 6.4 k shield he was taking only 1 bullet from those ships but still he was dying very very hard (even harder i would say) and when it hit it took still almost as same dmg as my frig so before i can make any stupid assumtions cause i read alot of negative comments about GMs(obviesly im beying trolled maybe is my assumption im sure theres no serious thing happening but im still curious) in this game i will post a few questions and pls relax im not mad but the next choices are switching to another game or starting new account for me cause i dont trust this anymore so:
-Is there a hidden Pve BALANCE so that all types of ships are equal in Pve(ex. frig= int= fighter pve only)? (i did tested on 1 or 2 players and the random battles but still good to know)
-Is there a hidden stat betwen Tier II and Tier III that doesent show so you take less damage?(reason i tested the tier 4 interceptor but still good to know)
-Are there hidden resitances that dont show on modules but a ship might have?
-Can a GM alter the game stats for players and make them take 200% on a type of ship without altering everything in the game?(obviesly you cant know if this cause you have no clue what they put in the game files but still answer it at your own knowlege that if its possible)
And whoever can read this and can actualy answer the question thx who cant … well gl:D.Even if you find this totaly hilarious and stupid i have no problem with you its your choice.Just a note : ironicaly i rly dont care about friggates my fav class is fighter ( prob tackler) and interceptors (dunno witch type yet).
Sounds like you got your shield set to the wrong damage type, or your getting hit by ships that have a crit build that will more or less double their damage. The energy balls are from singularty cannons and they hit hard especially if they crit.
There is no difference in damage taken between T2 and T3, the only difference is that in T3 you can equip a mod to increase your crit chance and as i said that will more or less double the damage depending on the ship type.
EDIT: also, I wouldn’t use the shield regen mod, your better off having resistance mods installed.
Looks that you haven’t read carefully the guard module description.
The guard special module gives you 150 damage resists to one damage type (Thermal by default) and you can cycle between damage types (Thermal -> EM -> kinetic iirc)
The handicap for that is that guard frigates have much worse base resists than all the other ship classes, and EM base resistence is -60, which is REALLY BAD, and basically it means you will receive around 200% damage than when you have 0 resistence (100% damage)
Also, hull resistences vs EM are much higher (base 25 I think) so that is the reason why your fighter is much better against EM.
Concerning a GM changing the code of the game only for you, that is just impossible.
I will give you some advices:

Go to the settings menu, and set the ship information to “FULL” so you will be able to see all the ship resistences and characterisitcs.

Go to the HUD menu (I think it is the HUD menu) and tick the "show income damage) box, so the hud will display in the right side of the hull and shield bars, the incomming damage and more important the TYPE of damage (red= thermal, Blue= EM, Yellow= kin)

Use the implants which give you more resistences. 1-3 and 3-3.
Also you need to know that frigates get 25% more damage from explosion damage type (missiles, torpedoes, and some weapons deal explosive damage) while interceptors get 33% less (fighters receive no bonus or malus towards damage)

Go to settings, game and change ship information from “basic” to “full”

Yep, getting hit with em on negative resist makes you lose your shields fast! Plus of you get hit with those target painter singularity fighters you will have no shields in no time of running a -60 em resist guard
