Showing off long and hard purple ships is about balance… right.
What does that mean?

Well, he is right.
This thread should be moved into the Video and Screenshots section.
It has nothing to do with ship-balance-discussion.
I blame kipps

Thats the right decision!

You make me f mad every time you post a build without the stats.
I know they are not FULL purple (although I have enough artifacts)
Also the builds are not perfect nor final, I’m testing.
^Note how freaking beautiful my Aura is.

Cant do it.
Besides the fact that I dont have a resolution to do it, they are pretty good… I´d fear a nerf to that beauty.

you could do 2 screenshots and with paint cut the ship profile and put it somewhere else xD
Here you go!
Now compare it to any possible crappy-zashi build.
Wakizashi aint bad, and you’re not using gigas there I fear, so Idk how much would it survive. The few games Ive played in SQ were fighter conflict + some engineers.
This is my Jarl so far, I’m also going for the speed build, but sadly it just melts against tacklers and gunships…

your Jarl has quite a tanking and role on a battlefield crisis
if you are using galvanic - you gotta compensate with Velox implant on top of verniers
if you are using nerocontroller (which i personally find less effective than armadillo) your gigas 2 is absolutely pointless and just a dead weight on your already reduced agility by strafing implant
your submatter shield makes your shield drain useless and tanking via drain nonexistant
using shield drain on Jarl without drones(yes drones even after nerf) makes it even more pointless

I use Cheetah instead for the Naga and Fighters, I didn’t find myself confortable on SQ so instead of having 2-3 interceptors I’m using only one.
Since the Armadillo nerf I wasn’t sure if I should keep using it, I change from time to time and I can’t see a difference, sure the numbers are the numbers but I can’t notice any difference tho…
I know but I wanted to make good use of that extra speed bonus to get a fast Empire Recon. Also Gigas II also give me shield resist. Anyway I use shield drain mostly to attack instead of defense.
I find it still useful. I don’t use drones because in SQ everyone knows how to destroy them. So I got rid of them and I’m using Microlocator, placing it in some areas where it can be useful.

I bet those scrubs flying silent foxes don’t

No, but the 8 men SYN teams do xD
Are you referring to the ability to ‘kick xxxx and take names’, or are you saying there is an object I can shoot that I don’t know about?
Or, did they finally implement a reducing feature? The only thing I can think of is from that patch’s reducing the base percentage.
The other one is when the shield first goes down anti negative effect implant, but that’s only able to be used once. (per ship)
Is that what you meant?

(If you’re talking about spy drones) You can remove spy drones by a colliding with anything
That’s nice xD
One less weakness for my regeneration types. :010j:
Note the synergy. I know this ship like the back of my hand. I sometimes switch to curved reflector and horizon. I have enough purple to upgrade 3 more slots but I’m saving up for T5. Also…why is the Naga so much less tanky than the Minotaur!? If there’s one thing I wish I could do, is drop the engine slot for another CPU slot and reduce the spread by even more. The DPS is listed at 5K but it’s not actually lower since the spread causes some of the projectiles to miss. If each and every projectile made contact…it would actually do 5K DPS.
nvm
