So my Adobe Premiere trial ended and now I’m having trouble finding a really good video editing software. Does anyone have anything good I can use?
What functionality you need? If just cutting/merging and encoding, I could recommend Shotcut(freeware). If you need more functionality, then try Sony Vegas(trial).
KDEnlive works on linux, bsd and mac
not the best, but works for simple edits; but there are many under these oses anyway (cinelerra, etc.)
I dont use windows for actual work, but I would also suggest to try vegas.
On windows I also know Lightworks and of course Blender, which you can actually use to video cut if you set it up for it.
Avidemux and VirtualDub of course for simple linear editing or re-encoding.
I use movie maker. 0_0
unfortunately, it takes up a lot of cpu. i recommend it instead of prime95.

Ok guys, thanks for the suggestions! Now I’ve found this editing software called “VSCD”. I found it on this site called “CNET”. So is CNET trustworthy? VSCD seems legitimate. Is it any good?

I’m looking for software that can create shapes, add subtitles, edit video and audio from different sources. My latest videos using Adobe Premiere basically show what I’m looking for.
