How do you get the firework missles for your ships?
It’s an event item. The ones I have are from this year’s New Year event, and I have a limited supply only.
I thought those were obsolete now.
You can equip them and use them, just that you can’t get new ones to replace those you used.

There’s also a large number of people using them now, because you can get them for achieving a new rank in a faction. Unfortunately, there are no retroactive bonuses, so you’ll probably have to miss out on quite a few if you had high rank ships before about a month ago.
Don’t worry, they were terrible gameplay wise. Funny and nice looking, but terrible.
I never used them. Were they just like thermal Octopus missiles?
No, they are similar to it, but are incredibly inaccurate.
